Controls and Ports:

  • Power Button: Located on the side, used to turn the speaker on/off.
  • Mode Button: Switches between Bluetooth, Line-In, and Micro SD card modes.
  • Play/Pause Button: Controls music playback.
  • Volume Control Ring: Touch-sensitive ring for adjusting volume.
  • Previous/Next Track Buttons: Skips to the previous or next song.
  • Call Button: Answers or ends phone calls.
  • USB-C Charging Port: For charging the speaker.
  • Line-In Port: 3.5mm audio input for wired connections.
  • TF Card Slot: For playing music directly from a Micro SD card.

Setup

1. Charging the Speaker

Before initial use, fully charge your DOSS SoundBox Plus. Connect the supplied USB-C cable to the speaker's charging port and a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The LED indicator will show charging status. A full charge typically takes 3-4 hours and provides up to 20 hours of playtime at 50% volume.

2. Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds. The LED indicator will light up.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds. The LED indicator will turn off.

3. Bluetooth Pairing

The speaker will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode when powered on for the first time or if no device is connected. The Bluetooth indicator will flash.

  1. Enable Bluetooth on your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
  2. Search for "DOSS SoundBox Plus" in the list of available devices.
  3. Select it to connect. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator will glow solid blue.

4. Wireless Stereo Pairing (TWS)

To achieve a more immersive stereo sound, you can pair two DOSS SoundBox Plus speakers together.

  1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the 'Mode' button until you hear a prompt indicating TWS pairing mode.
  3. The second speaker will automatically connect to the primary speaker. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the indicators on both speakers will change.
  4. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in step 3.

5. Connecting via Line-In

For devices without Bluetooth, you can use the 3.5mm Line-In port.

  1. Connect a 3.5mm audio cable (not supplied) from your audio source to the Line-In port on the speaker.
  2. The speaker will automatically switch to Line-In mode. If not, press the 'Mode' button to select Line-In.

6. Playing from Micro SD Card

Insert a Micro SD card (not supplied) with MP3, FLAC, or WAV audio files into the TF Card slot. The speaker will automatically switch to Micro SD card mode and begin playback.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Controls

  • Volume Up/Down: Swipe clockwise or counter-clockwise on the touch-sensitive volume ring.
  • Play/Pause: Tap the center of the volume ring.
  • Next Track: Tap the 'Next Track' button.
  • Previous Track: Tap the 'Previous Track' button.

2. Call Management

With the built-in microphone, you can manage phone calls directly from the speaker when connected via Bluetooth.

  • Answer Call: Tap the 'Call' button.
  • End Call: Tap the 'Call' button again.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the 'Call' button.

3. Voice Assistant

Activate your device's voice assistant (Siri, Google Assistant) by pressing and holding the 'Mode' button.

Maintenance

  • Keep the speaker away from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, and moisture.
  • Clean the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Avoid dropping or subjecting the speaker to strong impacts.
  • When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place and charge it periodically to maintain battery health.

Troubleshooting

ProblemSolution
Speaker does not power on.Ensure the speaker is fully charged. Connect it to a power source using the USB-C cable.
Cannot pair via Bluetooth.Make sure the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode (flashing blue LED). Ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and within range. Forget previous pairings on your device and try again.
No sound.Check the volume levels on both the speaker and your connected device. Ensure the correct input mode (Bluetooth, Line-In, TF Card) is selected.
Poor sound quality.Move the speaker closer to your Bluetooth device to reduce interference. Ensure there are no obstructions between the devices.
Wireless Stereo Pairing fails.Ensure both speakers are DOSS SoundBox Plus models and are not connected to any other device before initiating TWS pairing. Try resetting both speakers.
