Setup
Charging the Flashlight
Before first use, fully charge the flashlight. The device includes a Lithium Ion battery.
- Locate the blue collar on the flashlight body. Twist or slide this collar to reveal the USB charging port.
- Connect the provided USB charging cable to the flashlight's port.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
- An indicator light will show charging status. Refer to the product packaging or specific indicator behavior for full charge notification.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the cable and securely close the protective collar over the USB port to maintain water resistance.

Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off and Changing Light Modes
The flashlight features multiple light modes. Press the tail cap power button to cycle through them:
- First Press: Activates Flood + Spotlight mode (3,400 lumens).
- Second Press: Switches to Flood mode (1,500 lumens).
- Third Press: Switches to Spotlight High mode (2,000 lumens).
- Fourth Press: Switches to Spotlight Low mode (600 lumens).
- Fifth Press: Turns the flashlight off.
To turn off the flashlight from any mode without cycling through all modes, press and hold the power button for approximately 2 seconds.
Using as a Power Bank
The DieHard 41-6646 can be used to charge other USB-powered devices.
- Expose the USB charging port by twisting or sliding the blue collar.
- Connect your device's charging cable to the flashlight's USB port.
- The flashlight will begin charging your device. Monitor your device's charging indicator.
- Disconnect your device once charging is complete and securely close the protective collar.
Maintenance
Cleaning
- Wipe the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish or internal components.
- Ensure the charging port is free of dust and debris. Use a dry, soft brush if necessary.
Storage
- Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- For long-term storage, charge the battery to approximately 50% every 3-6 months to prolong battery life.
