Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Airtek Portable Air Cooler-Purifier Model AT075AE. Please read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance and retain them for future reference.
The Airtek AT075AE is designed to provide a natural, efficient, and economical cooling and air purification solution. It operates by pumping water from its tank to moisten a cooling panel. Warm air passes through this wet panel, causing water to evaporate, which results in cooler, more humid air. A powerful turbine then circulates this refreshed air into your room.

Important Safety Information
- Always place the unit on a stable, level surface.
- Do not immerse the appliance, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
- Ensure the power supply matches the voltage specified on the appliance's rating label.
- Unplug the unit from the power outlet before filling, cleaning, or performing any maintenance.
- Keep the appliance out of reach of children and pets.
- Do not block the air inlet or outlet.
- Note: This product is an evaporative air cooler and purifier, NOT an air conditioner. Its cooling efficiency may be reduced in areas with high humidity (e.g., coastal or tropical climates).

Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the unit from its packaging. Retain all packaging materials for potential future transport or storage.
- Placement: Position the air cooler on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper airflow (at least 20 cm from walls or furniture).
- Fill Water Tank: Pull out the removable 7-liter water tank from the rear of the unit (refer to Figure 3). Fill the tank with clean tap water, ensuring the water level is between the 'MIN' and 'MAX' indicators. Do not overfill. Slide the tank back into place securely.
- Add Ice (Optional): For enhanced cooling, open the top compartment lid (refer to Figure 4) and place ice cubes or ice packs inside. Close the lid securely.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

Control Panel & Remote Functions:
- Power Button (⏻): Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
- Fan Speed Button (☸): Cycles through low, medium, and high fan speeds.
- Oscillation Button (⇆): Activates or deactivates the automatic horizontal oscillation of the air vents for wider air distribution.
- Timer Button (⏱): Sets the operating time before the unit automatically turns off. Press repeatedly to select desired hours.
- Cooling/Humidification Button (❄): Activates or deactivates the evaporative cooling function. The water pump will start/stop.
- Mode Button (☴): Selects different operating modes (e.g., Normal, Natural, Sleep).
- Ionizer Button (if available, typically represented by a cloud or negative ion symbol): Activates the ionizer function for enhanced air purification.
Air Purification Stages:
The Airtek AT075AE features a 3-stage air purification system:
- Mesh Filter: In the first stage, ambient warm air passes through a mesh filter that captures larger dust particles.
- Antibacterial Cooling Panel: The air then proceeds through the antibacterial cooling panel, which helps eliminate germs and bacteria while simultaneously cooling and humidifying the air.
- Ionizer: When the ionizer function is activated, it releases negative ions that attach to remaining airborne particles, making them heavier and causing them to settle, resulting in purer air output.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Airtek AT075AE.
- Before Cleaning: Always unplug the unit from the power outlet.
- Cleaning the Mesh Dust Filter: The mesh filter should be cleaned every 2-4 weeks, or more frequently depending on air quality. Remove the filter from the rear of the unit (refer to Figure 2). Rinse it under running water to remove accumulated dust. Allow it to dry completely before reinserting.
- Cleaning the Antibacterial Cooling Panel: The cooling panel should be cleaned every 1-2 months. Carefully remove it after removing the mesh filter. Rinse it gently with water. For stubborn deposits, a mild detergent solution can be used, followed by thorough rinsing. Ensure it is completely dry before reinstallation.
- Cleaning the Water Tank: The 7-liter water tank should be cleaned weekly to prevent mold or mildew growth. Remove the tank (refer to Figure 3), empty any remaining water, and wash it with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly. The unit features a low-level alarm to indicate when the tank needs refilling.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure the water tank, mesh filter, and cooling panel are clean and dry. Store the unit in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Airtek AT075AE, consult the following table before contacting customer support:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit does not power on. | No power supply; Power button not pressed. | Check power cord connection; Ensure outlet is functional; Press the Power button. |
| Weak or no airflow. | Air inlets/outlets blocked; Filter dirty. | Clear any obstructions; Clean the mesh dust filter. |
| No cooling effect. | Water tank empty; Cooling function not activated; High ambient humidity. | Fill water tank; Activate Cooling function; Add ice to the top compartment. Note that cooling is less effective in high humidity. |
| Water leakage. | Water tank not properly seated; Overfilled water tank. | Ensure water tank is securely in place; Do not fill past the 'MAX' line. |
| Low water alarm sounds. | Water level is below 'MIN' indicator. | Refill the water tank. |
