4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Before First Use

Before using your juicer for the first time, wash all detachable parts (food pusher, cover, filter basket, juice collector, pulp container, juice pitcher) in warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth.

4.2 Fruit and Vegetable Preparation

  • Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly.
  • Most fruits and vegetables can be juiced without peeling. Remove large seeds (e.g., peaches, mangoes) and hard pits.
  • For citrus fruits, peel them before juicing as the rind can impart a bitter taste.
  • The 65mm (3-inch) wide feed chute can accommodate whole or large pieces of produce, minimizing the need for extensive pre-cutting.
  • Cut larger items into pieces that fit comfortably into the feed chute.

4.3 Speed Settings

The Juilist Juicer features two-speed settings for optimal juice extraction from various produce types.

  • Speed I (Low Speed): Ideal for softer fruits and vegetables such as oranges, grapes, watermelon, tomatoes, and strawberries.
  • Speed II (Fast Speed): Suitable for harder fruits and vegetables like carrots, apples, celery, ginger, and beets.
  • Selecting the correct speed maximizes juice yield and flavor.

  1. Ensure the juicer is properly assembled and the juice pitcher is in place.
  2. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
  3. Turn the control dial to the desired speed setting (I or II). The button light will illuminate, indicating the juicer is operating.
  4. Gradually feed the prepared fruits and vegetables into the feed chute using the food pusher. Apply gentle, steady pressure. Do not force the produce.
  5. The juicer will extract juice into the pitcher and separate pulp into the pulp container.
  6. Once juicing is complete, turn the control dial to the '0' (off) position and unplug the appliance.
  7. The built-in foam separator in the juice pitcher helps ensure smooth, foam-free juice.

4.5 Important Notes

  • Do not juice overly ripe or soft fruits as they may clog the filter.
  • Avoid juicing fibrous vegetables like kale or spinach in large quantities without alternating with harder produce, as they can wrap around the filter.
  • Fruits with low water content, such as bananas and avocados, are not suitable for centrifugal juicing.
  • For best results, juice fresh produce.

5. Care and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your juicer.

  2. Rinsing: Immediately rinse all removable parts under running water to prevent pulp from drying and sticking.
  3. Cleaning Filter Basket: Use the provided cleaning brush to thoroughly clean the micro-mesh filter. This is crucial for efficient juicing.
  4. Washing: All removable parts are dishwasher safe (top rack recommended) or can be hand-washed with warm, soapy water.
  5. Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Never immerse it in water.
  6. Drying: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing.
  7. Anti-Drip Spout: The anti-drip design minimizes mess, but ensure the spout is clean after each use.
