6. Operation

6.1 Taking a Measurement

  1. Place the scale on a hard, flat surface.
  2. Step onto the scale barefoot. Ensure your feet are in full contact with the ITO conductive areas (the dark sections on the scale surface) for accurate body composition analysis.
  3. Stand still until your weight is displayed and stabilized. The scale will then proceed to measure other body composition metrics.
  4. If connected to the Fitdays app, your data will automatically sync to your profile.

6.2 Understanding Display Metrics

The large color display on the scale directly shows 8 key metrics. These include your weight, body fat percentage, BMI, body water percentage, muscle mass, heart rate, bone mass, and an assessment of your body type. A visual bar graph indicates your body type category (Slim, Standard, Overweight, Obesity).

6.3 Multi-User Functionality

The scale can intelligently recognize up to 8 users. For additional users (up to 24 total), you can create sub-accounts within the Fitdays app. To share the scale with family or friends, set up a profile in the Fitdays app and complete the first measurement. Then, scan the QR code within the app to add additional users as sub-accounts. The scale manages data independently, even without a phone present, ensuring privacy.

6.4 Offline Measurement

The smart scale supports offline measurement. After initial setup and user registration with the Fitdays app, subsequent measurements can be taken without your phone nearby. The data is automatically stored in the scale's built-in memory chip (up to 100 sets of data) and will synchronize to the app the next time your phone connects via Bluetooth.

6.5 Baby Mode

To weigh a baby or pet, first weigh yourself, then hold the baby/pet and step on the scale again. The scale will automatically calculate the baby's or pet's weight by subtracting your initial weight. This mode is activated via the Fitdays app.

6.6 Athlete Mode

Athlete mode is specifically designed for individuals aged 18 and above who engage in long-term physical exercise or exercise more than 3 times a week. Activating this mode in the Fitdays app adjusts the body composition calculation model for more accurate results for athletes. (Note: Measurements are for reference only and not suitable for diagnosing medical conditions.)

7. App Features & Data Sync

The Fitdays app is your central hub for all body composition data. It provides detailed charts and trends of your 16 metrics over days, weeks, months, or years, allowing you to visualize your progress. The app also supports syncing data to other popular fitness applications like Google Fit, Apple Health, Samsung Health, and Fitbit. You can also share your achievements on social media directly from the app.
