2. Safety Precautions
- Always ensure the input voltage selector on the back of the unit matches the voltage of your power source (110V/120V or 220V/240V) before plugging in the transformer. Incorrect selection can cause severe damage.
- For safety and optimal performance, it is recommended to use a voltage converter with a maximum power output at least 50% higher than the rated power of your appliance.
- Some appliances, such as heating devices, power tools, motors, laser printers, and televisions, may require 2 to 4 times their printed rated wattage at startup. Consider this surge wattage when selecting the appropriate transformer.
- Do not overload the transformer. The unit is equipped with resettable circuit breakers for protection against overcurrent.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the transformer. Do not block air vents.
- Keep the unit away from water, moisture, and extreme temperatures.
- Do not attempt to open or repair the unit yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.

4. Setup
- Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove the transformer from its packaging and inspect it for any signs of damage.
- Select Input Voltage: Locate the AC Input Select Switch on the back of the unit. Before plugging in the transformer, ensure this switch is set to match the voltage of your local power supply (e.g., 110V~120V for North America, 220V~240V for Europe/Asia).
- Connect Power Cord: Insert the provided detachable power cord into the AC Input Port on the back of the transformer.
- Plug into Wall Outlet: Plug the other end of the power cord into a grounded wall outlet.
- Connect Appliances: Plug your appliance(s) into the appropriate output sockets on the front of the transformer (110V-120V or 220V-240V).

5. Operating Instructions
- Power On: Flip the ON/OFF switch on the front panel to the "ON" position. The Power LED indicator will illuminate, signifying that the transformer is active.
- Voltage Conversion:
- If your input is 110-120V and you need 220-240V output, plug your appliance into the 220V-240V output sockets.
- If your input is 220-240V and you need 110-120V output, plug your appliance into the 110V-120V output sockets.
- Power Off: When finished, flip the ON/OFF switch to the "OFF" position. Disconnect appliances before unplugging the transformer from the wall.

Figure 5: Overseas Equipment Usage. This image shows the transformer in a home setting, demonstrating how it can convert 110V or 220V input to 110V or 230V output, enabling the use of overseas appliances like washing machines, refrigerators, and televisions.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Disconnect the unit from power before cleaning. Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation slots on the sides of the transformer remain clear of obstructions to allow for efficient heat dissipation. The fan-less design relies on natural convection.
- Storage: Store the transformer in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Resettable Circuit Breaker: The transformer is equipped with resettable circuit breakers. If the unit experiences an overload, the circuit breaker button(s) will pop out. To reset, reduce the load on the transformer (unplug some appliances), then press the circuit breaker button(s) back in. There is no need to replace fuses.
