1. Product Overview

2. Setup and Initial Use

2.1 Initial Winding

For first-time use or after the watch has stopped, it needs to be manually wound. Gently rotate the crown (the knob on the side of the watch) clockwise 30-40 times until you feel a slight resistance. This builds up the initial power reserve.

2.2 Adjusting the Bracelet

The watch comes with a strap adjustment tool to help you resize the stainless steel bracelet for a comfortable fit. Follow the instructions provided with the tool to remove or add links as needed.

3. Operating Instructions

The OLEVS G9910 features a multi-function dial with displays for date, day of the week, and month, in addition to the main time display.

3.1 Setting the Time

1. Pull the crown out to the outermost position (Position 2).
2. Rotate the crown to adjust the hour and minute hands to the correct time.
3. Push the crown back in to Position 0 to start the watch.

3.2 Setting the Date, Day, and Month

The watch features dedicated buttons for adjusting the date, day of the week, and month. These are typically small recessed buttons on the side of the watch case, which may require a small tool (like a toothpick or the strap adjustment tool's pin) to press.

• Date Window: Use the dedicated button (often located near the 2 o'clock position) to advance the date.
• Week Subdial: Use the dedicated button (often located near the 10 o'clock position) to advance the day of the week.
• Month Subdial: Use the dedicated button (often located near the 4 o'clock position) to advance the month.

Important Note: To prevent damage to the internal gears, do not adjust the date, day, or month between 11:00 PM and 4:00 AM. During this period, the watch's internal calendar mechanism is engaged in changing the date, and manual adjustment can cause misalignment or damage.

If the day of the week does not change correctly, it may be necessary to manually advance the time by rotating the hour hand past 24 hours until the correct day is displayed, then set the time accurately.

4. Maintenance and Care

4.1 Daily Wear

For optimal performance, wear your automatic watch regularly. Daily wear helps keep the self-winding mechanism charged. If the watch is not worn for an extended period, it may stop and require manual winding to restart.

4.2 Cleaning

Wipe the watch case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

4.3 Water Resistance

The watch is 3ATM water resistant, meaning it can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion like handwashing. It is not suitable for showering, bathing, swimming, or diving. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.

4.4 Storage

When not wearing the watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong magnetic fields, which can affect its accuracy.

5. Troubleshooting

• Watch Stops or Loses Time:

  As an automatic watch, it relies on wrist movement to wind. If not worn for 8+ hours daily, it may lose power. Manually wind the watch 30-40 times using the crown to fully charge it. Ensure consistent wear for continuous operation.

• Date/Day/Month Not Changing or Incorrect:

  Avoid adjusting the calendar functions between 11:00 PM and 4:00 AM. If the day of the week is incorrect, manually advance the time by rotating the hour hand past 24 hours until the correct day is displayed, then set the time accurately. Ensure buttons are fully pressed.

• Luminous Hands Not Glowing:

  The luminous material needs to be exposed to light (natural or artificial) to charge. If the glow is faint, expose the watch to a bright light source for a few minutes.

• Bracelet Unfastens Easily:

  Check the clasp mechanism for any debris or damage. Ensure it clicks securely into place. If issues persist, consult a professional watch repair service.

• Watch Damaged After Drop:

  Mechanical watches are delicate instruments. Significant impacts can cause internal damage. If the watch stops working after a fall, it likely requires professional repair. Contact OLEVS customer service for assistance.
