3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

The timer requires two CR2032 batteries (included). To install or replace batteries:

1. Locate the battery cover on the back of the timer.
2. Open the battery cover by sliding it or gently prying it open (refer to Figure 3.1).
3. Insert the two CR2032 batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery cover securely.

3.2 Placement Options

The timer offers flexible placement options:

• Tabletop: Utilize the integrated back stand to prop the timer upright on any flat surface.
• Magnetic Surface: The three strong inset magnets on the back allow for secure attachment to metal surfaces like refrigerators or whiteboards.

4. Operating Instructions

The timer features four main function buttons on the back: ST/SP (Start/Stop), - (Minus), + (Plus), and SET.

4.1 Setting the Day Countdown Timer

To set a specific day countdown:

1. Press the SET button to switch to the countdown mode. The display will show '0000 DAY'.
2. Hold down the SET button until the digits for the days start flashing.
3. Use the + and - buttons to adjust the desired number of days.
4. Press SET again to move to hours, then minutes, and seconds, adjusting each with + and -.
5. Once all values are set, press SET one last time to confirm.
6. Press the ST/SP button to start the countdown. Press again to pause, and again to resume.
7. To clear the countdown, hold down the - and + buttons simultaneously.

4.2 Setting the Clock and Calendar

To set the current time and date:

1. Ensure the timer is in clock mode (not countdown mode). If it's in countdown mode, press SET briefly to switch.
2. Hold down the SET button until the year digits start flashing.
3. Use the + and - buttons to adjust the year.
4. Press SET to move to the month, then date, hour, minute, and second, adjusting each with + and -.
5. You can switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats during the hour setting by pressing the ST/SP button.
6. Once all values are set, press SET one last time to confirm and exit setting mode.

4.3 Key Lock Function

The timer includes a key lock function to prevent accidental button presses. To activate or deactivate the key lock, locate the small lock icon on the display. When the lock icon is visible, the buttons are locked. Refer to the product's visual guides or the video for specific button combinations to toggle this feature.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Replacement

When the display dims or the timer functions become erratic, it's time to replace the batteries. Follow the steps outlined in Section 3.1 Battery Installation. It is recommended to replace both CR2032 batteries simultaneously for optimal performance.

5.2 Cleaning

To clean the timer, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the device in water, as this can damage the electronics and display.

• No Display or Dim Display: Check if the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient power. Replace them if necessary.
