4. Setup

Before first use, wash all parts of the pressure cooker and the glass lid with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Ensure the silicone gasket is properly seated in the lid and that the pressure regulator valve is clear.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Pressure Cooking

  1. Add ingredients and liquid to the pressure cooker. Do not exceed the maximum fill lines (2/3 full for most foods, 1/2 full for expanding foods).
  2. Place the pressure lid onto the pot, aligning the arrows or indicators, and rotate to lock it securely. The easy-lock system ensures a hassle-free and secure experience.
  3. Place the pressure cooker on a suitable cooktop. This cooker is compatible with induction, gas, electric, halogen, and vitro-ceramic stovetops.
  4. Set the heat to high. Once pressure builds, the pressure indicator will rise.
  5. Reduce heat to maintain a steady pressure. Cook for the recommended time.
  6. Once cooking is complete, turn off the heat. Allow pressure to release naturally or use the pressure release valve for quick release, following safety guidelines.
  7. Once the pressure indicator drops, it is safe to open the lid. Rotate the lid counter-clockwise and lift.

5.2. Using as a Multipurpose Pot

To use the pressure cooker as a traditional pot, simply replace the pressure lid with the included tempered glass lid. This allows for versatile cooking of stews, soups, and other dishes without pressure.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your pressure cooker.

  • After Each Use: Allow the pressure cooker to cool completely before cleaning. Wash the pot, pressure lid, and glass lid with warm, soapy water.
  • Dishwasher Safe: The pot and lids are dishwasher safe for convenient cleaning.
  • Gasket: Remove the silicone gasket from the lid and wash it separately. Ensure it is clean and dry before reinserting.
  • Valves: Regularly check the pressure regulator valve and safety valve to ensure they are free from food debris and blockages. Use a small brush if necessary.
  • Storage: Store the pressure cooker with the lid inverted or slightly ajar to allow air circulation and prevent odors.
