Video 1: Official Installation Guide for Delta Woodhurst Single Handle Bathroom Faucet
This video demonstrates step-by-step mounting, supply line connection, and flushing procedures for the Delta Woodhurst Single Handle Bathroom Faucet.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Prepare the Sink: Ensure the sink surface is clean and dry. If your sink has multiple holes and you are using the optional deck plate, place it over the holes.
- Mounting the Faucet: Feed the integrated supply lines and mounting stud of the faucet through the center hole of the sink. If using the optional deck plate, ensure it is properly aligned. For single-hole installations, an escutcheon is not required. For 4-inch, 3-hole configurations, the included escutcheon plate is required to cover extra holes.
- Secure the Faucet: From underneath the sink, slide the mounting bracket and washer onto the mounting stud. Hand-tighten the nut to hold the faucet in place, then use the included wrench to fully tighten, ensuring the faucet is centered and stable.
- Connect Supply Lines: Connect the integrated InnoFlex PEX supply lines to your hot and cold water supply valves. The lines are color-coded (red for hot, blue for cold) for easy identification. Hand-tighten the connections, then use a wrench for a final quarter-turn to ensure a secure, leak-free seal.
- Install Drain Assembly: Install the metal push-pop drain assembly according to the instructions provided with the drain. Ensure all seals are properly seated to prevent leaks.
- Flush the Faucet: Before replacing the aerator, turn on the water supply and flush both hot and cold lines for approximately 30 seconds to clear any debris. Turn off the water, then re-install the aerator using the provided aerator wrench.
- Check for Leaks: Turn on the water supply again and check all connections for leaks. Tighten any leaking connections as needed.
