2. Setup
2.1 Unpacking and Checking Contents

2.2 Charging and Installing the Battery
- Insert the LP-E6N battery into the LC-E6 charger.
- Plug the charger into a power outlet. The charging lamp will illuminate.
- Once charging is complete, the lamp will turn off. Remove the battery.
- Open the battery compartment cover on the camera.
- Insert the charged battery into the compartment until it clicks into place. Close the cover.
2.3 Inserting a Memory Card
- Open the memory card slot cover on the side of the camera.
