3. Setup

3.1 Track Preparation

Ensure your N Gauge railway track is clean and properly assembled on a stable surface. The track provides power to the train, so good electrical contact is essential for smooth operation.

3.2 Connecting the Train Cars

  1. Carefully remove each train car from its packaging.
  2. Connect the locomotive and passenger cars using the provided draw bars. The connection between the locomotive and passenger car is similar to the 10-1657 Thalys PBA painting model.
  3. To reproduce a 20-car model, remove the coupler cover at the head of one locomotive and use the included draw bar to connect it to another 10-car set (sold separately).

Connect your N Gauge power pack to the railway track. This model train system receives power directly from the rails; it does not use batteries for driving, illumination, or lighting.

4.2 Starting the Train

Gradually increase the power supply from your control unit. The powered unit with flywheel ensures stable operation. The headlights and tail lights will illuminate (using bulb color LED) as power is supplied.
