3. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for safe and correct installation:
- Turn off Power: Ensure the electricity supply to the installation area is completely switched off at the main circuit breaker.
- Attach Mounting Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling using the provided screws and wall plugs. Ensure it is firmly attached to a suitable structural support.
- Connect Wiring: Connect the lamp's electrical wires to the household wiring. Typically, the brown wire (Live) connects to the Live (L) terminal, the blue wire (Neutral) connects to the Neutral (N) terminal, and the green/yellow wire (Earth) connects to the Earth terminal. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Secure Fixture: Carefully lift the lamp fixture and attach it to the mounting bracket, ensuring all wires are tucked safely inside the ceiling rose. Secure the fixture with the screws provided.
- Install Glass Globes: Gently screw each of the five glass globes onto the bulb holders. Do not overtighten.
- Install Bulbs: Insert the appropriate LED bulbs (not included) into each bulb holder.

4. Operating Instructions
Once installed, the Lindby Chrissy ceiling lamp is operated via your standard wall switch. If connected to a compatible dimmer switch, the light intensity can be adjusted.
- On/Off: Flip the wall switch to turn the lamp on or off.
- Dimming: If a dimmer switch is installed, rotate or slide the dimmer control to adjust the brightness of the light. Ensure that the LED bulbs used are dimmable compatible.

- Bulb Replacement: Ensure the lamp is cool and the power is off before replacing bulbs. Unscrew the old bulb and screw in a new LED bulb of the correct type and wattage.
