This manual provides detailed instructions for the operation and maintenance of your Sunoony Portable CD Player, Model CD-35. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all items are present: CD player, remote control, USB power cable, AUX cable, and earphones.
  2. Power Connection: Connect the provided USB power cable to the player's USB port and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a powered USB port. The player requires continuous power for operation as it does not contain an internal rechargeable battery.
  3. Remote Control Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control. Insert two AAA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

Locate the power switch on the side of the unit. Slide it to the 'ON' position to power on the player. Slide it to 'OFF' to power off.

2. Mode Selection

Press the FUN. button repeatedly to cycle through available modes: CD, Bluetooth (BT), FM Radio, and AUX/USB.

3. CD Playback

  1. Gently open the CD cover. Insert a CD with the label side facing up. Close the cover securely.
  2. Select CD mode using the FUN. button. The player will automatically begin playing the CD.
  3. Press the Play/Pause button (►►) to pause or resume playback.
  4. Press the Previous (◀◀) or Next (►►) buttons to skip tracks. Hold these buttons to fast-forward or rewind.
  5. Press the REP./PROG. button to select repeat modes (e.g., repeat one, repeat all) or to program a custom playback order.

4. Bluetooth Mode

  1. Select Bluetooth mode using the FUN. button. The display will show 'BT' and an indicator will flash, signifying pairing mode.
  2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices. Select 'Sunoony CD-35' (or similar) from the list.
  3. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator will stop flashing. You can now stream audio from your device to the CD player.

5. FM Radio

  1. Select FM Radio mode using the FUN. button. The display will show the FM frequency.
  2. Press the FM button (on the remote) or the Play/Pause button (on the unit) to initiate an automatic scan for stations. The player will save found stations.
  3. Use the Previous (◀◀) or Next (►►) buttons to navigate through saved stations.

6. AUX/USB Mode

  1. Select AUX/USB mode using the FUN. button.
  2. Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the AUX input using the provided 3.5mm audio cable.
  3. Alternatively, connect a USB flash drive containing audio files to the USB port. The player will automatically detect and play compatible audio files.

7. Volume Control

Press the VOL+ button to increase volume and VOL- button to decrease volume.

8. Sleep Function

Press the /SLEEP button to activate the sleep timer function. Repeated presses will cycle through available sleep timer durations (e.g., 15, 30, 60 minutes) or disable the function.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the player. For the CD lens, use a specialized CD lens cleaner. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • CD Handling: Always hold CDs by their edges. Avoid touching the playing surface. Store CDs in their cases to prevent scratches and dust accumulation.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the player in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting
