2. Safety Instructions

  • Assembly: Always ensure at least two people are present for assembly and disassembly to prevent injury and ensure proper setup.
  • Weather Conditions: This canopy is intended for temporary shade and should NOT be left up during adverse or inclement weather conditions, including heavy rain, snow, sleet, hail, strong winds, or thunderstorms. Failure to do so may result in damage to the product or personal injury.
  • Anchoring: Always use the provided stakes and ropes to securely anchor the canopy to soft surfaces. In windy conditions, additional anchoring may be necessary.
  • Clearance: Ensure adequate clearance from heat sources, open flames, and sharp objects.
  • Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the canopy during assembly and disassembly. Do not allow them to play unsupervised around the canopy.
  • Structural Integrity: Regularly inspect the frame and fabric for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections. Do not use if damaged.

3. Package Contents

Please verify that all components are present before beginning assembly:

  • Pop-Up Canopy Frame (Pre-assembled)
  • Canopy Top Fabric (Double Canopy)
  • Four (4) Removable Zipper Netting Sidewalls
  • Eight (8) Ground Stakes
  • Four (4) Ropes
  • Carrying Bag
  • Instruction Manual (This document)

4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps for quick and easy setup. A minimum of two people is required for safe installation.

  1. Step 1: Open the Canopy Frame.

Remove the folded canopy frame from the carrying bag. With a partner, gently pull the frame outwards from opposite corners until it begins to expand.

  2. Step 2: Raise and Lock the Canopy.

Once the frame is partially open, place the canopy top fabric over the frame. Push up on the push-button control system located at the center of the frame to raise and lock the canopy into its fully extended position. Ensure all locking mechanisms are securely engaged.

  3. Step 3: Adjust Height (Optional).

If your model has adjustable legs, adjust the height for your preferred shade coverage by pressing the release buttons on each leg and extending or retracting them to the desired setting. Ensure all legs are set to the same height for stability.

  4. Step 4: Add Mesh Sidewalls.

Attach the four removable zipper netting sidewalls to the canopy frame using the integrated fasteners (e.g., hook-and-loop straps or clips). Zip them together to fully enclose the space, or tie them back to the legs for an open feel.

  5. Step 5: Secure with Stakes and Ropes.

For stability, especially on soft ground, insert the provided ground stakes through the footplates of each leg and into the ground. Attach the ropes to the canopy corners and stake them into the ground at an angle, ensuring tension for added stability.

5. Operating the Canopy

5.1. Shade and Ventilation

The canopy provides 114 square feet of shade, protecting from direct sunlight. The vented double canopy design allows for improved airflow, reducing heat buildup underneath and enhancing stability by allowing wind to pass through.

5.2. Screen Walls

The four removable zipper netting sidewalls offer protection from insects while maintaining airflow. They can be zipped closed for full enclosure or tied back to the legs using the integrated ties for an open gazebo feel.

5.3. Water Drainage

The canopy features drainage holes at the top to help prevent water accumulation during light rain. However, it is crucial to disassemble the canopy during heavy rain to prevent damage.

6. Maintenance and Storage

6.1. Cleaning

  • Fabric: Clean the canopy fabric and netting with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before folding and storing.
  • Frame: Wipe the steel frame with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Ensure the frame is dry to prevent rust.

6.2. Storage

  • Always disassemble the canopy and store it in its carrying bag when not in use or during adverse weather conditions.
  • Ensure all components are clean and completely dry before storage to prevent mold, mildew, and rust.
  • Store the canopy in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
