1. Introduction
The DEWENWILS Wireless Remote Control Outlet and Wall Mounted Switch provides a convenient solution for controlling various electrical appliances. This system eliminates the need for complex wiring, offering ease of installation and operation. It is ideal for controlling lamps, fans, holiday lights, and other devices from a distance.
The system operates using a strong RF (Radio Frequency) signal, allowing control through walls and doors up to 100 feet in open areas. The wall-mounted switch is detachable and can also be used as a handheld remote control.
2. Safety Information
- For indoor use only. Avoid high humidity, high temperature, and high magnetic fields.
- Do not connect any devices that may exceed the maximum limits of 15A/1875W.
- Do not insert needles or any other metal objects into the main outlet.
- Do not disassemble or repair the product. Service should only be performed by authorized personnel.

4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation (Transmitter)
The CR2032 battery is pre-installed in the wall-mounted switch. If replacement is needed:
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the switch.
- Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
- Close the battery compartment securely.
4.2 Pairing the Remote Control Outlet and Switch
The remote control outlet and switch are pre-programmed for immediate use. If re-pairing or pairing additional units is required, follow these steps:
- Plug the receiver (outlet) into a standard 3-prong wall outlet. The red indicator light on the receiver will flash slowly.
- Press and hold the program button on the receiver until the red indicator light starts to blink rapidly.
- While the receiver's light is blinking rapidly, press the 'ON' button on the wall switch.
- The red indicator light on the receiver will stop blinking, indicating successful pairing.
- Test the pairing by pressing 'ON' and 'OFF' on the wall switch.
4.3 Mounting the Wall Switch
The wall switch can be mounted using the provided mounting plate, screws, and drywall anchors. It can also be used as a portable remote.
- Position the mounting plate on the desired wall location. Ensure the 'UP' arrow on the plate is pointing upwards.
- Mark the screw locations with a pencil.
- Drill pilot holes if necessary and insert the drywall anchors.
- Secure the mounting plate to the wall using the provided screws.
- Align the slots on the back of the wall switch with the hooks on the mounting plate and slide it down to lock it in place.

5. Operating Instructions
Once the remote control outlet is plugged in and paired with the wall switch, operation is straightforward:
- To Turn ON: Press the 'ON' button on the wall switch. The connected appliance will power on.
- To Turn OFF: Press the 'OFF' button on the wall switch. The connected appliance will power off.
- Manual Control: The receiver (outlet) also has a manual ON/OFF button for direct control.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
6.2 Battery Replacement
Refer to section 4.1 for instructions on replacing the CR2032 battery in the wall switch.
7. Troubleshooting
- Device not responding: Ensure the receiver is properly plugged into a live outlet. Check the battery in the remote switch and replace if necessary. Re-pair the devices if they have lost connection (refer to section 4.2).
- Limited range: Ensure there are no major obstructions (thick walls, metal objects) between the remote switch and the receiver. The 100ft range is for open areas; actual range may vary based on environmental factors.
- Interference: If other wireless devices are causing interference, try moving the remote control outlet or switch to a different location.
