2. Safety Information
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury, please follow these instructions:

4. Setup
The DEWENWILS IT101 is designed for immediate use with no complex setup required. The remote control and outlet are pre-programmed at the factory.
- Install Remote Battery: The remote control comes with a pre-installed 23A 12V battery. Before first use, gently pull out the plastic insulation tab from the battery compartment on the back of the remote.
- Plug in the Receiver: Insert the remote control outlet (receiver) into any standard 3-prong grounded wall outlet. Ensure it is firmly seated.
- Connect Your Appliance: Plug your desired appliance (e.g., lamp, fan, coffee maker) into the remote control outlet.
- Mount the Remote (Optional): The remote control can be used as a handheld device or mounted to a wall. To mount, remove the back plate by sliding it downwards. Use the provided screws to secure the back plate to the wall, then slide the remote control back onto the mounted plate.

5. Operating Instructions
Once set up, operating the DEWENWILS IT101 is straightforward:
- Turn On: Press the 'ON' button on the remote control. The red indicator light on the remote will illuminate, and the connected appliance will turn on.
- Turn Off: Press the 'OFF' button on the remote control. The red indicator light on the remote will turn off, and the connected appliance will power down.
- Manual Control: The receiver unit itself has a manual ON/OFF button. Press this button to toggle the power state of the connected appliance directly at the outlet.
The strong RF signal allows control up to 100 feet in open areas, penetrating through walls and doors, providing flexible placement options for your appliances.

6. Programming (Pairing)
The DEWENWILS IT101 features a learning function, allowing you to add more remote controls or outlets (of the same model) to expand your system. The codes will be changed each time after re-programming by variable learning codes technology.
- Prepare the Receiver: Unplug the receiver from the wall outlet.
- Enter Learning Mode: Press and hold the 'ON/OFF' button on the side of the receiver. While holding the button, plug the receiver back into the wall outlet. The indicator light on the receiver will start to flash slowly, indicating it is in learning mode.
- Pair with Remote: Release the 'ON/OFF' button on the receiver. Then, press either the 'ON' or 'OFF' button on the remote control you wish to pair. The indicator light on the receiver will stop flashing and remain solid for a few seconds, then turn off, confirming successful pairing.
You can pair multiple remote controls to one receiver, or one remote control to multiple receivers.
7. Unpairing (Resetting)
To unpair a remote control from a receiver, or to reset the receiver:
- Prepare the Receiver: Unplug the receiver from the wall outlet.
- Enter Reset Mode: Press and hold the 'ON/OFF' button on the side of the receiver. While holding the button, plug the receiver back into the wall outlet. The indicator light on the receiver will flash rapidly for approximately 5 seconds, then turn off.
- Confirm Reset: Release the 'ON/OFF' button. The rapid flashing indicates that the receiver has been successfully reset and all previous pairings are cleared.
8. Battery Replacement
The remote control uses one 23A 12V battery. If the remote's indicator light becomes dim or the remote stops responding, it's time to replace the battery.
- Open Battery Compartment: Slide the back cover of the remote control downwards to open the battery compartment.
- Remove Old Battery: Carefully remove the old 23A 12V battery.
- Insert New Battery: Insert a new 23A 12V battery, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals are correctly aligned.
- Close Compartment: Slide the back cover back into place until it clicks securely.
