Press firmly on the base to remove slack from the LATCH straps until the base is secure and does not move more than one inch side-to-side or front-to-back at the belt path.
- Seat Belt Installation: Route the vehicle's lap and shoulder belt through the designated belt path on the car seat base. Buckle the seat belt and remove all slack by pressing firmly on the base while tightening the belt. Ensure the base is secure and does not move more than one inch.
4.3 Attaching the Privacy Shade
The unique mesh privacy shade is stored in a convenient bumper bar pouch and can be easily attached to either the toddler seat or infant car seat canopy.
- For Toddler Seat: Unzip the top portion of the shade from the bumper bar pouch and attach it to the toddler seat canopy using the integrated zippers.
- For Infant Car Seat: Pull the bottom portion of the shade from the pouch's zippered pocket and attach it to the infant car seat canopy using the integrated zippers. No tools are necessary for attachment.
