5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Control Panel Overview
The control panel allows you to manage basic functions and settings of the cutter.

- Reset: Resets the cutter to its default state.
- Offline/Pause: Toggles between online (ready to cut) and offline (paused) modes.
- Setup: Accesses machine settings.
- Test: Performs a small test cut to verify blade depth and pressure.
- Origin: Sets the starting point for the cut.
- V+/V-: Adjusts cutting speed.
- F+/F-: Adjusts cutting force/pressure.
5.2. Blade Installation and Adjustment
Carefully insert a cutting blade into the blade holder. Adjust the blade depth by twisting the top of the holder until only a minimal tip of the blade is exposed. A good starting point is for the blade to just barely protrude, enough to cut the vinyl but not the backing paper.

5.3. Loading Material
Lift the pinch rollers and carefully feed your material (vinyl, paper, etc.) into the cutter, ensuring it is straight and aligned with the grit rollers. Lower the pinch rollers to secure the material. The adjustable pinch rollers allow for a flexible range of material widths.

- Set the origin point on the cutter's control panel.
- Adjust cutting speed (V+/V-) and force (F+/F-) as needed for your material. A test cut is recommended.
- Send the cutting job from VinylMaster Cut software to the plotter.
- Monitor the cutting process. If issues arise, press 'Offline/Pause' to stop.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your USCutter MH721.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the exterior of the machine with a soft, dry cloth. Remove any vinyl scraps or dust from the cutting area and rollers.
- Blade Replacement: Replace blades when they become dull or damaged to maintain cutting precision. Always handle blades with care.
- Roller Inspection: Check pinch rollers and grit rollers for wear or debris. Clean them gently if necessary.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Cutter not responding: Check power connection, USB/Serial cable connection, and ensure the cutter is in 'Online' mode.
- Poor cut quality: Adjust blade depth, cutting force, or replace the blade if dull. Ensure material is loaded correctly and not slipping.
- Material slipping: Ensure pinch rollers are firmly down and grit rollers are clean. Try adjusting pinch roller positions.
- Software communication issues: Verify correct driver installation and port settings in VinylMaster Cut.
