2. Important Safety Information
WARNING: Failure to read and follow all instructions, warnings, and cautions in this manual may result in personal injury, property damage, or voiding of your warranty. If you have any questions regarding these instructions, please contact PERLESMITH customer service.
- Do not install on walls that are not structurally sound. Ensure the mounting surface can safely support the combined weight of the mount and the TV.
- Always use a stud finder to locate wood studs. For concrete or brick walls, use the provided anchors and ensure proper drilling techniques.
- Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity specified for each mount.
- This product is intended for indoor use only.
- Ensure all screws are tightened securely, but do not overtighten.
- Keep small parts away from children.
- Always use two people for lifting and positioning the TV.
3. Package Contents

4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Pre-Installation Checklist
Before you begin, ensure you have the necessary tools and have checked your TV and wall compatibility.

4.1.1 Check TV Compatibility
- TV Size:
- PSMFK1: Fits most 26-60 inch TVs.
- PSMFK9: Fits most 32-65 inch TVs. - TV Weight:
- PSMFK1: Supports TVs up to 77 lbs (35 kg).
- PSMFK9: Supports TVs up to 99 lbs (45 kg). - VESA Pattern: Measure the horizontal and vertical distance between the mounting holes on the back of your TV. Refer to the specifications section for supported VESA patterns for each model.

4.1.2 Check Wall Type
These mounts are designed for installation on:
- Wood Stud Walls (12" or 16" on center)
- Solid Concrete Walls
- Brick Walls
DO NOT install on drywall alone. Always ensure the wall is structurally sound.
4.1.3 Tools Required (Not Included)
- Phillips Head Screwdriver
- Drill
- Drill Bits (specific sizes for wood studs or concrete/brick)
- Pencil
- Tape Measure
- Stud Finder (for wood stud installation)
- Hammer (for concrete anchors)
4.2 Installation Steps
The installation process is generally similar for both PSMFK1 and PSMFK9 mounts. Always refer to the detailed instruction manual included in your package for precise steps and hardware identification.
Step 1: Attach TV Brackets to TV
- Carefully place your TV face-down on a soft, clean surface.
- Identify the correct diameter and length of screws for your TV's VESA mounting holes. Use the provided spacers if necessary to ensure the screws do not bottom out or protrude too far.
- Attach the two vertical TV brackets to the back of your TV using the selected screws and washers. Ensure the brackets are centered and level.
Step 2: Mount Wall Plate to Wall
- Determine the desired height for your TV. Mark the center of the desired location on the wall.
- Position the wall plate at the marked location and use the integrated bubble level (or your own) to ensure it is perfectly horizontal. Mark the drilling holes with a pencil.
- For Wood Studs: Use a stud finder to locate the center of the wood studs. Drill pilot holes into the studs. Secure the wall plate using the provided lag bolts and washers.
- For Concrete/Brick Walls: Drill pilot holes into the solid concrete or brick. Insert the concrete anchors flush with the wall surface. Secure the wall plate using the provided lag bolts and washers.

Step 3: Hang TV onto Wall Plate
- With the help of another person, carefully lift the TV with the attached brackets.
- Hook the TV brackets onto the wall plate. Ensure the TV is securely seated on the mount.
- Tighten the safety screws or locking mechanisms on the bottom of the TV brackets to prevent accidental dislodging.
Step 4: Post-Installation Leveling (PSMFK9)
The PSMFK9 mount allows for a ±3° post-installation leveling adjustment to ensure your TV is perfectly horizontal even if the wall plate was not installed perfectly level.

5. Operating the Mount
Both PSMFK1 and PSMFK9 mounts offer full motion capabilities for optimal viewing angles.
5.1 Adjusting Tilt
- PSMFK1: Tilt range of +5° to -15°. Loosen the tilt knobs on the TV brackets, adjust to the desired angle, and then re-tighten the knobs to secure the position.
- PSMFK9: Tilt range of 15° forward and 5° backward. Loosen the tilt adjustment bolts, adjust the TV to the desired angle, and then tighten the bolts.
5.2 Adjusting Swivel
- Both mounts allow for a 90° swivel range (left and right) depending on TV size and wall distance. Gently push or pull the TV to the desired swivel angle.
5.3 Adjusting Extension/Retraction
- PSMFK1: Extends up to 18.3 inches (46.5 cm) from the wall and retracts to 2.56 inches (6.5 cm).
- PSMFK9: Extends up to 16.89 inches (42.9 cm) from the wall and retracts to 2.56 inches (6.5 cm).
- Gently pull the TV away from the wall to extend the arms, or push it back towards the wall to retract.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your TV wall mount.
- Periodically Check Connections: Every few months, check all screws and bolts to ensure they are still securely tightened. Do not overtighten.
- Clean: Wipe the mount with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Lubrication: The articulating joints are designed for smooth movement. If movement becomes stiff, a small amount of silicone-based lubricant can be applied to the pivot points.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues during or after installation, refer to the following common problems and solutions.
