1. Introduction
Welcome to your new Avenli Steel Frame Pool! This instruction manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient setup, operation, and maintenance of your pool. Please read this manual thoroughly before assembly and keep it for future reference. This pool is designed for family use and provides a refreshing experience in your garden.
The Avenli Steel Frame Pool measures 300 x 207 x 65 cm and features robust 3-layer reinforced PVC material for durability. It includes connections for standard filter pumps (32 mm) and comes with stopper plugs for use without a filtration system, as well as a hose connector for easy drainage.
2. Important Safety Instructions
Failure to follow these instructions can result in serious injury or death. Always exercise caution when using the pool.
- Adult Supervision Required: Never leave children unattended in or around the pool.
- No Diving: The pool is not deep enough for diving. Diving or jumping can result in serious injury.
- Proper Setup Surface: Set up the pool on a firm, level surface free of sharp objects. Do not set up on slopes or uneven ground.
- Clear Area: Ensure there is sufficient clear space around the pool.
- Electrical Safety: If using a filter pump, ensure all electrical connections are safe, grounded, and comply with local regulations. Never operate electrical devices near water.
- Chemicals: Handle pool chemicals with care and store them out of reach of children. Follow manufacturer's instructions for chemical use.
- Drainage: Ensure proper drainage away from the house or other structures when emptying the pool.
- Repair Patch: A repair patch is included for minor punctures. Follow instructions for proper application.

4. Setup and Assembly
Assembly typically takes about 30 minutes with two people and no special tools are required. Ensure you have enough space, as the installation dimensions are larger than the pool size itself.
4.1 Site Preparation
- Choose a firm, level, and stable surface in your garden. The area must be free of sharp objects, rocks, or debris that could puncture the liner.
- Ensure the ground is capable of supporting the weight of the filled pool (approx. 3701 liters of water + pool weight).
- Clear the area of any plants or roots that could grow under the pool.
- Consider proximity to a water source for filling and a suitable drainage area for emptying.
4.2 Assembly Steps
- Unpack all components and lay them out on the prepared surface.
- Carefully unfold the pool liner and spread it out in the desired location, ensuring the drain valve is positioned correctly for future drainage.
- Assemble the steel frame according to the diagrams provided in the separate assembly sheet (if applicable) or by matching the numbered pipes and connectors. Insert the horizontal and vertical support beams through the sleeves on the pool liner.
- Connect all frame pieces securely. Ensure all pins and locking mechanisms are engaged.
- Once the frame is fully assembled and stable, gently pull the liner taut and smooth out any wrinkles on the bottom.
- Ensure the 32mm connections for the filter pump (if using) are accessible and the stopper plugs are inserted if no pump is being used.

5. Operation
5.1 Filling the Pool
- Before filling, ensure the drain valve is securely closed and any pump connections are either plugged with the stopper plugs or connected to a filter pump.
- Begin filling the pool with water using a garden hose.
- As the pool fills, continue to smooth out any remaining wrinkles on the bottom of the liner.
- Fill the pool to approximately 90% capacity, or up to the fill line indicated on the liner (if present). Do not overfill. The pool has a capacity of 3701 liters at 90% fill.
5.2 Draining the Pool
To drain the pool, use the integrated drain valve and the provided hose connector:
- Locate the drain valve on the side of the pool.
- Remove the cap from the drain valve.
- Attach the provided hose connector and adapter to the drain valve.
- Connect a standard garden hose to the adapter and direct the other end to a suitable drainage area, away from foundations or electrical outlets.
- Open the drain valve to allow water to flow out.
- Once the pool is empty, remove the hose and adapter, and replace the drain valve cap securely.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance will extend the life of your pool and ensure a clean and safe swimming environment.
- Water Quality: Regularly test and adjust water chemistry (pH, chlorine levels) to prevent algae growth and ensure sanitation. Follow guidelines for pool chemicals.
- Cleaning: Skim debris from the water surface daily. Use a pool vacuum or brush to clean the liner walls and bottom as needed.
- Filter Pump (if used): Clean or replace filter cartridges regularly according to the pump manufacturer's instructions.
- Liner Inspection: Periodically inspect the pool liner for any signs of wear, tears, or punctures. Use the included repair patch for minor damage.
- Frame Inspection: Check the steel frame for rust or damage. Ensure all connections remain secure.
- Winter Storage: Before winter, completely drain, clean, and dry the pool liner and frame components. Store them in a dry, protected area away from extreme temperatures and pests.
7. Troubleshooting
Here are some common issues and their potential solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Pool is losing water | Puncture in liner; Loose drain valve cap; Loose pump connection | Inspect liner for holes and use repair patch; Tighten drain valve cap; Secure pump connections or insert stopper plugs. |
| Water is cloudy/green | Improper chemical balance; Insufficient filtration; Algae growth | Test water and adjust chemicals (pH, chlorine); Clean/replace filter cartridge; Shock treat the water. |
| Frame feels unstable | Uneven ground; Loose frame connections | Drain pool and relocate to a level surface; Check and secure all frame connections. |
| Difficulty draining pool | Drain valve clogged; Hose kinked | Clear any debris from the drain valve; Straighten the garden hose. |
