3. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your digital microscope:

1. Attach the Main Column: Secure the main vertical column to the base plate. Ensure it is firmly screwed in.
2. Install the Secondary Bracket: Slide the secondary bracket onto the main column. This bracket allows for precise height and magnification adjustments. Tighten the screws to secure it at the desired height.
3. Mount the Microscope Unit: Attach the microscope unit (with the LCD screen) to the secondary bracket. Ensure the connection is secure.
4. Connect Lenses: Select the appropriate lens (Lens A, D, or L) for your observation needs and screw it onto the microscope unit.
5. Position Lighting: Adjust the flexible LED lights to illuminate your observation area effectively.
6. Power On: Connect the power cable to the microscope and a suitable USB power source (not included).

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Lens Selection and Magnification

The JL249MS comes with three interchangeable lenses, each designed for specific magnification ranges and working distances:

• Lens L (60-240x): Ideal for electronics repair, soldering circuit boards, and general close-up work. Focus Range: 90mm-300mm.
• Lens A (18-720x): Suitable for observing larger objects like coins, rocks, plants, and precious stones. Focus Range: 12mm-320mm.
• Lens D (1800-2040x): Designed for high-magnification observation of biological slides and microscopic specimens. Focus Range: 4mm-5mm.

4.2 Display and Output Options

The microscope features a 10.1-inch LCD screen for direct viewing. For larger displays or recording, it offers HDMI and USB connectivity:

• HDMI Output: Connect the microscope to an external monitor or TV using the provided HDMI cable for a larger view.
• USB Output: Connect to a computer (Windows XP/7/8/10 compatible) via USB. The included PC software provides image development, measurement tools, and advanced compositing features.
• Micro-SD Card: Insert the included 32GB Micro-SD card to save captured images and videos directly on the device.

4.3 Photo and Video Capture

The microscope supports capturing high-resolution photos and videos:

• Video Resolution: UHD 2880x2160 at 24fps; FHD 1920x1080 at 60fps/30fps; HD 1280x720 at 120fps. Video format: MP4.
• Photo Resolution: Max 5600x4200 (24M). Photo format: JPG.
• Use the remote control or on-device buttons to initiate photo and video capture.

• Cleaning Lenses: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses to clean the microscope lenses. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
