3. Setup Guide

3.1 Unpacking and Placement

  1. Remove all packaging materials and protective films from the RoboVac and the dust collection station.
  2. Place the dust collection station against a wall on a hard, level surface. Ensure there is at least 0.5 meters (1.6 feet) of clear space on both sides and 1.5 meters (4.9 feet) in front of the station. Avoid placing it near stairs or obstacles.
  3. Connect the power cord to the dust collection station and plug it into a power outlet.

3.2 Initial Charge

Place the RoboVac onto the charging pins of the dust collection station. The indicator lights on the RoboVac will illuminate, indicating it is charging. Fully charge the RoboVac before its first use (approximately 6 hours).

3.3 App Installation and Connection

  1. Download the EufyHome app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
  2. Open the app and create an account or log in.
  3. Tap the "+" icon to add a new device and select "RoboVac L35 Hybrid+".
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your RoboVac to your home Wi-Fi network.

3.4 Mop Module Installation

To use the mopping function:

  1. Fill the mop module's water tank with clean water.
  2. Attach the mopping cloth to the mop module.
  3. Slide the assembled mop module into the back of the RoboVac until it clicks into place.
  4. Place the waterproof pad under the dust collection station if using the mopping function to protect your floor.

4. Operation

4.1 Starting and Stopping Cleaning

  • Start: Press the ⏸ button on the RoboVac or tap "Start Cleaning" in the EufyHome app.
  • Pause: Press the ⏸ button during cleaning or tap "Pause" in the app.
  • Return to Charging Station: Press the ⏹ button on the RoboVac or tap "Recharge" in the app.

4.2 Cleaning Modes

Select cleaning modes via the EufyHome app:

  • Auto Clean: The RoboVac cleans your entire home automatically.
  • Spot Clean: Cleans a specific area with concentrated suction.
  • Zone Clean: Define specific zones on the app map for the RoboVac to clean.
  • Customized Cleaning: Set cleaning plans for individual rooms, including suction power and water level.

4.3 Scheduling and No-Go Zones

  • Schedule Cleaning: Use the EufyHome app to set specific times for the RoboVac to clean automatically.
  • No-Go Zones: Define areas on the app map where the RoboVac should not enter or clean. This is useful for protecting delicate items or preventing access to certain rooms.

4.4 Voice Control

Connect your RoboVac to Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant through the EufyHome app to enable voice commands for starting, stopping, or sending the RoboVac back to its charging station.

4.5 Obstacle Avoidance and Quiet Operation

The RoboVac L35 Hybrid+ is designed to navigate around obstacles and operate quietly, making it suitable for use even when children or pets are present.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance of your RoboVac.

5.1 Dust Collection Station and Dust Bag Replacement

The dust bag in the automatic dust collection station typically needs replacement every 2 months, depending on usage and cleaning environment.

  1. Open the lid of the dust collection station.
  2. Carefully remove the full dust bag and dispose of it.
  3. Insert a new dust bag into the station, ensuring it is properly seated.
  4. Close the lid securely.

5.2 RoboVac Dustbin Cleaning

Although the RoboVac self-empties, occasional manual cleaning of the internal dustbin is recommended.

  1. Press the dustbin release button and pull out the dustbin.
  2. Open the dustbin cover and empty its contents.
  3. Clean the filter and dustbin with the provided cleaning tool or a soft brush.
  4. Rinse the dustbin with water if necessary, ensuring it is completely dry before reinstallation.

5.3 Brush Cleaning

  • Main Brush: Remove the main brush cover and lift out the brush. Use the cleaning tool to remove hair and debris.
  • Side Brushes: Gently pull off the side brushes. Remove any tangled hair or debris. Reattach them, ensuring they click into place.

5.4 Sensor Cleaning

Wipe all sensors (cliff sensors, wall sensor, charging contact pins) with a dry cloth to ensure proper function.

5.5 Mop Pad and Water Tank Cleaning

  • Remove the mop module from the RoboVac.
  • Detach the mopping cloth and wash it by hand or machine.
  • Empty any remaining water from the water tank and rinse it. Allow all components to air dry completely before reassembly.

6. Troubleshooting
