  4. Bleeding the Radiator: After installation and filling the system, bleed the radiator to remove any trapped air.

Important: Ensure the system is depressurized before making any connections. Consult a qualified plumber if you are unsure about connecting to your heating system.

5. Operating Instructions

Once installed and connected to your hot water heating system, the EMKE Bathroom Radiator operates as part of your central heating. It provides both room heating and towel drying functionality.

5.1 Heating Function

  • The radiator will heat up when your central heating system is active.
  • Adjust the room temperature using your central heating thermostat or the radiator's individual valve (if installed).
  • The flat panel design ensures uniform and efficient heat dissipation, quickly warming your bathroom.

5.2 Towel Drying Function

  • Hang towels over the horizontal bars of the radiator. The wide flat tubes increase the contact surface for faster drying.
  • Avoid overloading the radiator with too many towels, as this can reduce its heating efficiency for the room.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your EMKE Bathroom Radiator.

  • Cleaning: Clean the radiator regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the environmentally friendly coating.
  • Bleeding: Periodically bleed the radiator to release any trapped air, which can reduce heating efficiency. This should be done when the radiator is cold.
  • Inspections: Annually inspect all connections for any signs of leaks or corrosion. Address any issues promptly.
  • Protective Coating: The radiator's coating is designed to protect against rust and water leaks, ensuring durability in humid bathroom environments.
