6. Operating Instructions
The EMKE Flat Panel Bathroom Radiator functions as both a room heater and a towel warmer/dryer. It is designed for hot water heating systems.
6.1 Heating Performance
With a power output of 798W, this radiator efficiently heats an area of approximately 8 square meters. The flat tube design increases the contact surface, promoting faster towel drying and effective heat distribution.

Image 6.1: High Thermal Conductivity. This image illustrates the radiator's ability to provide comfortable warmth and efficiently dry towels due to its large surface area.
6.2 Water Temperature
For optimal performance, the recommended water inlet temperature is 75°C and the outlet temperature is 65°C. Ensure your heating system is configured to these parameters for best results.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Clean the radiator regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the anthracite finish.
- Bleeding: Periodically bleed the radiator to remove any trapped air, which can reduce heating efficiency. Consult your heating system's manual for specific instructions on bleeding radiators.
- Inspections: Regularly check all connections for leaks. If any leaks are detected, contact a qualified plumber immediately.
8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Radiator not heating up | Trapped air in the system | Bleed the radiator to release air. |
| Radiator partially cold | Uneven water flow or trapped air | Bleed the radiator. Check system pressure. |
| Water leakage from connections | Loose connections or faulty seals | Tighten connections carefully. If leakage persists, contact a qualified plumber. |
| Low heating efficiency | Low system pressure or incorrect valve settings | Check heating system pressure. Ensure radiator valves are fully open. |
