1. Introduction and Overview

The Sejoy 5L Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier is designed to improve air quality and humidity levels in various indoor environments. With its large 5-liter capacity, it can operate for up to 24 hours on a single fill, making it suitable for large rooms, bedrooms, nurseries, and spaces with plants. 3. Setup Instructions

1. Unpack the Humidifier: Carefully remove all packaging materials and place the humidifier on a flat, stable, and water-resistant surface. Ensure it is away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and electronic devices.
2. Fill the Water Tank: The Sejoy humidifier features a top-fill design for easy refilling. You can either pour water directly into the tank through the top opening or remove the tank using its built-in handle and fill it under a tap. For optimal performance and to prevent mineral buildup, it is recommended to use filtered or purified water.

3. Add Essential Oils (Optional): Locate the built-in aromatherapy box on the side or bottom of the humidifier. Pull out the tray and add a few drops of your favorite essential oil onto the sponge pad. Important: Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank, as this can damage the humidifier.

4. Connect to Power: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The humidifier is now ready for operation.

4. Operating Instructions

The Sejoy humidifier can be operated using the touch panel on the unit or the included remote control.

4.1 Power On/Off

• Press the Power button (⏻) on the touch panel or remote control to turn the humidifier on or off.

4.2 Adjusting Mist Levels

• The humidifier has two adjustable mist output levels (Low and High).
• Press the Mist Level button (💧) on the touch panel or remote control to cycle between the two settings.

4.3 Sleep Mode

• Activate Sleep Mode by pressing the Sleep Mode button (Zz) on the remote control. In this mode, the indicator lights will dim or turn off, and the humidifier will operate at its quietest setting for undisturbed rest.

4.4 Remote Control Usage

• The included remote control allows for convenient operation from a distance. It features buttons for Power, Mist Level, and Sleep Mode.

4.5 360-Degree Rotating Nozzles

• The dual nozzles on top of the humidifier can be manually rotated 360 degrees to direct the mist in any desired direction, ensuring even humidity distribution.

• The humidifier is equipped with an automatic shut-off feature that activates when the water tank is empty, preventing damage to the unit and ensuring safety.

5. Maintenance

Regular cleaning is essential to maintain the humidifier's efficiency and prevent the buildup of mold, mildew, and mineral deposits.

5.1 Daily Maintenance

• Empty and rinse the water tank daily.
• Wipe down the inside of the tank and the base with a clean cloth.

5.2 Weekly Cleaning

1. Unplug the Humidifier: Always ensure the unit is unplugged from the power outlet before cleaning.
2. Disassemble: Remove the top cover and the water tank from the base.
3. Clean the Water Tank: Due to its wide opening, the water tank is easy to clean. Use a soft brush or cloth and a mild detergent to clean the interior of the tank. For mineral deposits, a solution of white vinegar and water (1:1 ratio) can be used. Let it sit for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

4. Clean the Base: Carefully wipe the inside of the base, especially the ultrasonic transducer (the small disc that produces mist), with a soft cloth dampened with white vinegar. Do not submerge the base in water.
5. Clean the Essential Oil Box: Remove the essential oil tray and clean the sponge pad. Replace if necessary.
6. Rinse and Dry: Rinse all cleaned parts thoroughly with clean water until no vinegar or detergent smell remains. Allow all components to air dry completely before reassembling.

If the humidifier will not be used for an extended period, clean it thoroughly as per weekly cleaning instructions, ensure all parts are completely dry, and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
