3. Product Overview

The KLIM Nomad is a feature-rich portable CD player offering multiple playback and connectivity options.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Device

1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the side of the KLIM Nomad.
2. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the player and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
3. The battery indicator on the display will show charging status. A full charge typically takes 3-4 hours.

4.2 Inserting a CD

1. Slide the 'OPEN' switch on the side of the player to open the CD compartment lid.
2. Carefully place a CD or MP3 CD onto the spindle, ensuring it clicks into place.
3. Close the lid firmly until it clicks shut.

4.3 Connecting Headphones

The KLIM Nomad features two 3.5mm audio output ports. Plug your headphones into either port. The included KLIM Fusion earbuds offer excellent sound quality.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Slide the 'POWER ON/OFF' switch on the side of the player to turn the device on or off.

5.2 CD Playback

1. After inserting a CD and powering on, the player will automatically start reading the disc.
2. Press the Play/Pause button (►▮▮) to start or pause playback.
3. Use the Previous Track (◀◀) and Next Track (►►) buttons to skip tracks.
4. Press and hold the Previous Track (◀◀) or Next Track (►►) buttons for fast backward or forward.
5. Press the Stop (■) button to stop playback.

5.3 Volume Adjustment

Adjust the volume using the volume wheel on the side of the player. Rotate it to increase or decrease the volume level.

5.4 Mode Selection

Press the MODE button to switch between CD, TF Card, and FM Radio modes.

5.5 Equalizer (EQ) Settings

Press the EQ button repeatedly to cycle through different sound equalization modes (e.g., Pop, Jazz, Rock, Classic, BBS).

5.6 Key Lock Protection

The 'HOLD' switch on the side of the player locks all buttons to prevent accidental presses during transport or activity.

6. Connectivity

6.1 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the KLIM Nomad is powered on and in CD/TF Card mode.
2. Press the Bluetooth button (🖧) to activate Bluetooth pairing mode. The Bluetooth icon on the display will flash.
3. On your Bluetooth speaker or headphones, enable pairing mode.
4. Select 'KLIM Nomad' from the list of available devices on your Bluetooth accessory.
5. Once connected, the Bluetooth icon on the player's display will stop flashing and remain solid.

Note: Bluetooth compatibility with all external devices, especially car infotainment systems, cannot be guaranteed due to varying software updates. If you encounter issues, please contact customer service.

6.2 AUX Connection

Use the provided 3.5mm AUX cable to connect the KLIM Nomad to external speakers, car audio systems, or other audio input devices. Plug one end into either headphone jack on the player and the other end into the AUX input of your external device.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the player. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
• CD Care: Handle CDs by the edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe CDs from the center outwards.
• Storage: Store the player in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the provided carry pouch for protection during transport.
• Battery: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the device frequently. Charge it regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
