Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your Margaritaville Tiki Torch Bluetooth Speaker. This portable speaker features a flickering LED flame effect and Bluetooth connectivity, designed for both indoor and outdoor use.

Setup

Charging the Speaker

Before initial use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the speaker's charging port and to a compatible USB power source. The charging indicator will show the charging status.

Assembling the Mounting Pole

1. Connect the desired number of pole segments to achieve the preferred height.
2. Attach the ground stake to the bottom of the assembled pole.
3. Securely attach the speaker unit to the top of the pole.
4. Insert the ground stake firmly into soft ground for outdoor placement.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button located on the top of the speaker to turn it on or off.

Bluetooth Pairing

1. Turn on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED.
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "Margaritaville Speaker" from the list. Once connected, a confirmation tone will sound.

True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing (for two speakers)

To pair two Margaritaville Tiki Torch speakers for stereo sound:

1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the TWS pairing button (often indicated by a chain link icon or similar).
3. The primary speaker will search for the secondary speaker. Once connected, a confirmation tone will sound, and the LED indicators on both speakers will change.
4. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described above. Both speakers will play audio in stereo.

Controlling Music and Lights

Use the buttons on the top of the speaker or your connected device to control playback:

• Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button.
• Volume Up/Down: Press the '+' or '-' buttons.
• Next/Previous Track: Press the '>>|' or '|<<' buttons.
• Light Mode: Press the light button (often indicated by a sun or lightbulb icon) to cycle through light modes (e.g., flickering flame on/off).

Maintenance

Cleaning

Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed when not charging to maintain water resistance.

Water Resistance

The speaker is designed to be waterproof for outdoor use. However, avoid submerging it in water for extended periods. Always ensure the charging port is sealed when exposed to moisture.

Troubleshooting

• Speaker not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the speaker to a power source using the USB-C cable.
• Cannot pair via Bluetooth: Make sure the speaker is in pairing mode (flashing LED). Ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and within range. If previously paired, try unpairing and re-pairing.
• No sound: Check the volume levels on both the speaker and your connected device. Ensure the speaker is successfully paired.
• TWS pairing issues: Ensure both speakers are fully charged and not connected to any other Bluetooth device before attempting TWS pairing. Follow the TWS pairing steps carefully.
• Flickering light not working: Press the light mode button to ensure the light is activated. Check battery level.
• Short battery life: Battery life can vary based on usage (music only, light only, or combined). Ensure the speaker is fully charged before use.
