2. Important Safety Instructions
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, basic safety precautions should always be followed.
- Read all instructions before using the appliance.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, do not immerse cord, plugs, or electric kettle in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner.

- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to 'off', then remove plug from wall outlet.

- The kettle will automatically shut off when water reaches boiling point or when there is no water in the kettle (dry-boil protection).

4. Setup and First Use
Unpacking:
- Carefully remove all packaging materials from the kettle and its accessories.
- Inspect the kettle for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
Before First Use:
- Fill the kettle with clean water up to the MAX line.
- Boil the water (select 100°C/Boil Black preset).
- Discard the boiled water.
- Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
- Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth.
Placement:
- Place the power base on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Ensure the power cord is not dangling or in contact with hot surfaces.
- Keep the kettle away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture.
5. Operating Instructions
Filling the Kettle:
- Remove the kettle from its power base.
- Open the lid and fill the kettle with fresh, cold water. Do not fill below the MIN mark or above the MAX mark.
- Close the lid securely and place the kettle back on the power base.
Temperature Selection and Boiling:
The kettle offers 6 preset brewing programs and a custom temperature control function.

- Power On: Press the ON/OFF button. The LED display will light up.
- Select Preset: Press the 'PROGRAM' button repeatedly to cycle through the 6 preset temperatures:
- Boil Black: 100°C (for black tea)
- French Press: 95°C (for French press coffee)
- Oolong Tea: 90°C
- White Tea: 85°C
- Green Tea: 80°C
- Delicate Tea: 70°C
- Custom Temperature: Alternatively, use the 'CUSTOM TEMP' button to adjust the temperature in 5-degree increments from 40°C to 100°C.
- Start Boiling: Once the desired temperature is selected, press the 'START/CANCEL' button. The kettle will begin heating.
- Audible Signal: An audible signal will sound when the water reaches the set temperature. This can be muted by pressing the 'MUTE' button for 3 seconds.
- Automatic Shut-off: The kettle will automatically turn off once the target temperature is reached or if it runs dry.
Keep Warm Function:
The kettle can maintain the selected temperature for up to 120 minutes (up to 96°C).
- After selecting your desired temperature and starting the heating process, press the 'KEEP WARM' button.
- The kettle will heat the water to the set temperature and then maintain it for 120 minutes.
Using the Tea Infuser:
The removable tea infuser allows for direct brewing of loose leaf tea or tea bags within the kettle.

- Place your desired amount of loose leaf tea or tea bags into the stainless steel infuser.
- Insert the infuser into the kettle, ensuring it is properly seated.
- Fill the kettle with water and select your desired brewing temperature.
- Once the water reaches the temperature, allow the tea to steep for the recommended time.
- Carefully remove the infuser once steeping is complete to prevent over-extraction. Use a heat-resistant glove or cloth as the infuser will be hot.
Memory Function:
The kettle has a 10-minute memory function that saves your last temperature and time settings, eliminating the need to re-enter them for repeated use within this timeframe.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and descaling are essential to maintain the performance and longevity of your FOHERE Electric Kettle.
Daily Cleaning:
- Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior of the kettle and the power base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Rinse the interior of the kettle with clean water.
- The tea infuser can be rinsed under running water or washed with mild dish soap. Ensure it is thoroughly dry before reinserting.
- Do not immerse the power base or the kettle's electrical components in water.
Descaling (Removing Limescale):
Limescale buildup can affect the kettle's performance and taste of your beverages. It is recommended to descale regularly, especially in areas with hard water.

- Prepare Solution: Fill the kettle with 1 cup of distilled vinegar or lemon juice and 2 cups of water (1:2 ratio).
- Boil and Soak: Boil the mixture, then let it soak in the kettle for 2 hours.
- Clean: Empty the solution, then wipe away any limescale with a non-abrasive cloth or sponge.
- Rinse: Rinse the kettle thoroughly with clean water and wipe it dry with a soft cloth.
- Repeat: Repeat the process if necessary for stubborn buildup.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your kettle, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
