Operating the Pedal
The Sondery Compressor Pedal features three main control knobs to shape your sound:
- Sustain: Adjusts the compression ratio, allowing for a longer sustain when the effect level is increased. Turning this knob clockwise increases the sustain.
- Level: Controls the overall output volume of the effected signal. Use this to balance the pedal's volume with your bypassed signal.
- Attack: Determines how quickly the compression effect engages. A lower setting provides a quicker and tighter response, while a higher setting results in a slower and smoother compression.
To engage or bypass the effect, press the footswitch. The LED indicator will illuminate when the effect is active.

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your pedal:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the pedal's exterior. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the pedal in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
- Power: Always use the specified 9V DC (center negative) power adapter. Disconnect power when not in use for extended periods.
- Connections: Ensure all cables are securely connected to prevent signal loss or damage.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your pedal, try the following:
- No Sound:
- Check all cable connections (instrument, amplifier, power).
- Ensure the power adapter is correctly connected and providing the specified 9V DC (center negative) power.
- Verify your instrument and amplifier are working correctly by bypassing the pedal.
- Unwanted Noise/Hum:
- Ensure you are using a regulated 9V DC power supply specifically designed for guitar pedals.
- Check for faulty cables.
- Move the pedal away from other electronic devices that might cause interference.
- Effect Not Engaging:
- Press the footswitch firmly. The LED should illuminate when the effect is active.
- Check power supply.
