This manual provides essential instructions for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your Hauck Rapid 4D Air Stroller. Designed for comfort and functionality, this stroller is suitable for children from birth up to a maximum weight of 22 kg (approximately 48 months).
The Hauck Rapid 4D Air Stroller features large pneumatic tires for a smooth ride, a convenient one-hand folding mechanism, an adjustable handle, and a spacious seat with a lie-flat position. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use and keep it for future reference.

2. Safety Information
WARNING: This product is not suitable for jogging or skating. It complies with EN 1888-2:2018 standards for a maximum weight of 22 kg and a maximum age of 48 months.
- Always use the 5-point safety harness to secure your child.
- Never leave your child unattended in the stroller.
- Ensure all locking devices are engaged before use.
- Do not overload the storage basket or attach items to the handle that could affect the stroller's stability.
- Keep children clear of moving parts when making adjustments.
- Regularly check the stroller for loose parts, damaged components, or worn fabric. Discontinue use if any damage is found.
- The parking brake must be engaged whenever you place or remove your child from the stroller.
3. Setup
3.1 Unfolding the Stroller
- Place the folded stroller on a flat, stable surface.
- Release any transport locks.
- Grasp the handle and lift upwards until the frame clicks into place, indicating it is fully unfolded. Ensure all locking mechanisms are securely engaged.
3.2 Attaching Wheels
The wheels may come pre-attached or require simple assembly.
- Rear Wheels: Push the rear wheels onto the axle until they click into place. Pull to ensure they are securely fastened.
- Front Wheels: Insert the front wheel units into the designated slots on the front frame until they click. Verify secure attachment.

3.3 Adjusting the Handle
The stroller features a height-adjustable handle for ergonomic pushing.
- Locate the adjustment buttons on either side of the handle.
- Press the buttons simultaneously and move the handle to your desired height (between 76 cm and 113 cm).
- Release the buttons to lock the handle in position.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Adjusting the Seat Recline and Footrest
The seat offers multiple recline positions, including a lie-flat position suitable for newborns.
- Seat Recline: Locate the recline strap or lever at the back of the seat. Adjust to the desired angle. Ensure the child is not in the seat during adjustment for safety.
- Footrest: Press the buttons on either side of the footrest to adjust its angle.
4.2 Using the 5-Point Harness
Always secure your child with the 5-point harness.
- Place your child in the seat.
- Bring the shoulder straps over your child's shoulders and the waist straps around their hips.
- Insert the buckle tongues into the central buckle until they click.
- Adjust the straps to ensure a snug, secure fit without being too tight.
- To release, press the button on the central buckle.
4.3 Operating the Canopy
The large canopy provides sun protection and ventilation.
- Extend or retract the canopy as needed.
- Utilize the mesh window for improved air circulation and to maintain visual contact with your child. The canopy offers UV 50+ protection.

4.4 Using the Brakes
The stroller is equipped with a foot-operated parking brake.
- To engage the brake, press down firmly on the brake pedal located near the rear wheels.
- To release, lift the brake pedal upwards.
- Always ensure the brake is fully engaged when the stroller is stationary.
4.5 Swiveling and Locking Front Wheels
The front wheels can swivel for maneuverability or be locked for stability on uneven terrain.
- To allow swiveling, ensure the locking mechanism above each front wheel is disengaged.
- To lock the wheels in a straight position, engage the locking mechanism.
4.6 Folding the Stroller
The stroller features a quick, one-hand folding mechanism.
- Ensure the seat is in an upright position and the canopy is retracted.
- Locate the 'PRESS & PULL' strap or handle in the seat area.
- Press the button (if applicable) and pull the strap upwards firmly. The stroller will begin to fold.
- Continue folding until the stroller is compact and the automatic lock engages.

4.7 Using the Cup Holder
A convenient cup holder is provided for beverages.
- Attach the cup holder to the designated slot on the handle.
- Ensure it is securely fastened before placing any drinks.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning Instructions
- Fabric Parts: All covers are robust and easy to clean. Hand wash only with mild soap and cold water. Do not bleach, tumble dry, or iron.
- Frame and Plastic Parts: Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Dry thoroughly.
- Tires: Keep pneumatic tires clean and free of debris. Check tire pressure periodically and inflate as needed.
5.2 Storage
Store the stroller in a dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to prevent damage to materials.
6. Troubleshooting
- Difficulty Folding/Unfolding: Ensure all components are correctly aligned and the seat is in the upright position. Check for any obstructions.
- Wheels Not Turning Smoothly: Clean any debris from the wheel axles. Lubricate moving parts with a silicone-based spray if necessary. Check tire pressure for pneumatic wheels.
- Brakes Not Engaging: Check for obstructions around the brake mechanism. Ensure the brake pedal is fully depressed.
- Harness Issues: Ensure straps are not twisted and buckles are free of debris. Adjust strap length for proper fit.
