4. Setup and Initial Use
4.1. Fitting Your Helmet
A proper fit is crucial for safety. Refer to the sizing chart in Section 8 to determine your correct size. The helmet should fit snugly around your head without causing pressure points. The chin strap should be adjusted to be tight enough that the helmet cannot be easily pulled off your head.
4.2. Chin Strap Adjustment
The helmet is equipped with a quick-release buckle. To fasten, insert the male end into the female receiver until it clicks. To release, press the red button on the female receiver. Adjust the strap length using the slider to ensure a snug fit under your chin.
4.3. Visor Installation/Removal
The outer clear shield and inner smoked visor are designed for easy replacement. To remove or install the outer shield, locate the visor clip release mechanism on both sides of the helmet. Rotate the clip in the indicated direction to release or tighten the visor.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Using the Dual Visor System
- Outer Clear Shield: This is your primary shield. It can be moved up or down. It has multiple detent positions (full open, half open, closed) for varying airflow and visibility needs.
- Inner Smoked Visor (Sun Shield): This visor is for sun blocking. It can be deployed or retracted using the sun shield visor control switch located on the side of the helmet. Use this only in bright conditions and retract it when light conditions are low to maintain optimal visibility.
5.2. Ventilation
The helmet features multiple air vents, including a mouth vent, to provide airflow. These vents are designed to enhance comfort by promoting air circulation within the helmet. Note that these vents are not adjustable or closable.
6. Maintenance and Care
6.1. Cleaning the Exterior
Clean the helmet's exterior with mild soap and water. Use a soft cloth to avoid scratching the UV protective finish. Do not use harsh chemicals, solvents, or petroleum-based cleaners, as these can damage the helmet material.
6.2. Cleaning the Visors
Clean visors with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow to air dry. Avoid abrasive materials that can scratch the lens. Replace visors if they become scratched or damaged to ensure clear vision.
6.3. Cleaning the Interior Padding
The interior padding is removable and washable. Gently remove the padding components. Hand wash with mild soap and cool water. Allow to air dry completely before reinserting into the helmet. Ensure all padding is correctly reinstalled for proper fit and protection.
6.4. Storage
Store the helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid placing heavy objects on the helmet, which could deform its shape or compromise its integrity.
7. Troubleshooting
- Helmet feels too tight or too loose: Refer to the sizing chart in Section 8. Ensure the chin strap is properly adjusted. If the size is incorrect, consider replacing the helmet with the appropriate size.
- Visor fogging: Ensure the outer clear shield is slightly open to allow airflow, or consider using an anti-fog treatment or insert (not included).
- Excessive wind noise: Ensure all visors are fully closed and the helmet is properly seated on your head. Wind noise can vary based on riding speed and motorcycle type.
- Difficulty with visor movement: Check for any obstructions or dirt in the visor mechanism. Clean the mechanism if necessary. Do not force the visor.
