  • Flux MIG Setup: Connect the MIG torch to the designated MIG torch connector. Connect the ground clamp to the negative pole.
  • MMA (Stick) Setup: Connect the MMA electrode holder to the positive pole. Connect the ground clamp to the negative pole.
  • Lift TIG Setup: Connect the Lift TIG torch to the negative pole. Connect the ground clamp to the positive pole.

Ensure all connections are secure before powering on the machine.

6. Operating Instructions

Select the desired welding mode using the selection button on the front panel. Adjust voltage and current according to the material thickness and welding process.

6.1 Flux-Cored MIG Welding

This mode is suitable for welding without gas cylinders, using flux-cored wire. It is ideal for welding iron and galvanized pipes.

  • Install the flux-cored wire spool into the wire feeder compartment.
  • Thread the wire through the MIG torch liner.
  • Select MIG mode using the selection button.
  • Adjust the voltage and current knobs to achieve the desired wire feed speed and arc characteristics.
  • Begin welding, maintaining a consistent travel speed and arc length.

6.2 Lift TIG Welding

Lift TIG is suitable for welding thick and thin plates, offering precise control.

  • Ensure the Lift TIG torch and ground clamp are connected as described in Section 5.2.
  • Select TIG mode.
  • Adjust the current knob for the desired amperage.
  • Initiate the arc by gently touching the tungsten electrode to the workpiece and lifting it slightly.
  • Maintain a short arc length and feed filler rod manually if required.

6.3 MMA (Stick) Welding

MMA welding provides a continuous arc and is suitable for various applications.

  • Ensure the MMA electrode holder and ground clamp are connected as described in Section 5.2.
  • Select MMA mode.
  • Adjust the current knob based on the electrode type and diameter.
  • Strike the arc by lightly scratching the electrode against the workpiece.
  • Maintain a consistent arc length and travel speed.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your welding machine.

  • Cleaning: Periodically clean the machine's exterior and ventilation openings to prevent dust and debris buildup. Use compressed air to clear internal components if necessary, ensuring the machine is unplugged.
  • Cable Inspection: Regularly inspect all welding cables, torches, and connectors for damage, fraying, or loose connections. Replace damaged components immediately.
  • Wire Feeder: For MIG welding, clean the wire feeder mechanism and replace worn drive rollers or liners as needed.
  • Storage: Store the welder in a dry, clean environment away from excessive dust and moisture when not in use.
