Product Overview
The TOPDON TB8000 is a versatile 3-in-1 battery charger, desulfator, and maintainer designed for a wide range of 6V and 12V lead-acid and lithium-ion (LiFePO4) batteries. It features smart voltage detection, a 9-stage charging sequence, and multiple safety protections to ensure efficient and safe battery maintenance.

Setup and Connection
Before connecting the charger, ensure the battery terminals are clean and free of corrosion. Always connect the charger in a well-ventilated area.
- Connect the red positive (+) alligator clip to the positive (+) battery terminal.
- Connect the black negative (-) alligator clip to the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Plug the AC power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (100-240V).
- The charger will automatically detect the battery voltage and begin the charging process.

Operating Modes and Smart Charging
The TB8000 features a smart digital LCD screen that displays charging status, battery status, voltage, and current. It utilizes a 9-step charging sequence for optimal battery health.
Available Charging Modes:
- 12V/8A NORM: Standard charging for 12V lead-acid batteries.
- 6V/8A NORM: Standard charging for 6V lead-acid batteries.
- 12V/8A COLD: Optimized charging for 12V batteries in cold environments.
- 12V/8A LITHIUM: Specific charging for 12V Lithium-ion (LiFePO4) batteries.
- 12V/3A SMALL: Lower current charging for smaller 12V batteries.
- 12V/1A REPAIRS: Pulse repair function to restore sulfated or acid-stratified batteries.
Use the "Mode" button to cycle through and select the desired charging mode.

Maintenance and Care
- Keep the charger clean and dry. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth.
- Store the charger and accessories in the provided storage bag when not in use.
- Avoid exposing the charger to extreme temperatures outside its operating range (-4°F/-20°C to 104°F/40°C).
- The integrated thermal sensor adjusts charging power based on ambient temperature, preventing overcharging in summer and power loss in winter.
- The pulse repair function helps restore lost battery performance by detecting and addressing sulfation and acid stratification.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your TOPDON TB8000, consider the following:
- Charger not turning on: Ensure the AC power cord is securely plugged into a live outlet. Check the battery connections for proper polarity.
