5. Setup & Charging

5.1 Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge the lantern. The built-in 2600mAh lithium-ion battery ensures reliable power.

5.2 Charging the Lantern

  1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the side of the lantern. It is protected by a rubber cover.
  2. Open the rubber cover.
  3. Connect the provided USB to USB-C cord to the lantern's USB-C port.
  4. Plug the other end of the USB cord into a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank, computer USB port).
  5. The battery indicator lights will illuminate to show charging progress. All four lights will be solid when fully charged.
  6. Once charging is complete, disconnect the cable and securely close the rubber cover to maintain water resistance.

5.3 Charging External Devices

The lantern can also serve as a power bank to charge small electronic devices.

  1. Open the rubber cover to access the USB-A output port.
  2. Connect your device's charging cable (not included) to the USB-A output port on the lantern.
  3. The lantern will begin charging your device. Monitor your device's battery status.
  4. Disconnect your device when charged and securely close the rubber cover.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off and Brightness Adjustment

  1. Locate the rotary dial on the front of the lantern.
  2. Rotate the dial clockwise to turn the lantern ON.
  3. Continue rotating the dial clockwise to cycle through brightness settings: Low (50 lumens), Medium (150 lumens), and High (400 lumens).
  4. Rotate the dial counter-clockwise to decrease brightness and turn the lantern OFF.
