Setup
Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the required batteries (e.g., 2 x AAA, not included) ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Initial Time Setting
- After battery installation, the display will typically show a default time or flash.
- Press and hold the MODE button until the hour digits begin to flash.
- Turn the rotary knob to adjust the hour.
- Press the MODE button again to switch to minute adjustment.
- Turn the rotary knob to adjust the minutes.
- Press the MODE button once more to confirm the time and exit time setting mode.
Operating Instructions
The GEFU Digital Timer Safe offers three main functions: Clock, Alarm, and Timer.
1. Clock Mode
In its default state, the device displays the current time. This is the Clock Mode.
2. Alarm Clock Mode
- From Clock Mode, press the MODE button once to enter Alarm Setting Mode. The alarm time will be displayed, possibly flashing.
- If the hour digits are not flashing, press and hold the MODE button until they do.
- Turn the rotary knob to set the desired alarm hour.
- Press the MODE button again to switch to minute adjustment.
- Turn the rotary knob to set the desired alarm minutes.
- Press the MODE button once more to confirm the alarm time.
- To activate/deactivate the alarm, press the START STOP button while in Alarm Setting Mode. An alarm icon (e.g., a bell) will appear/disappear on the display.
- The alarm will sound for a set duration when the set time is reached. Press any button to silence it.
3. Timer Mode
- From Clock Mode, press the MODE button twice to enter Timer Mode. The display will show "00:00" or the last set timer value.
- To set the timer, turn the large outer rotary knob. Turning clockwise increases the time, counter-clockwise decreases it.
- The timer can be set up to a maximum of 99 minutes and 59 seconds.
- Press the START STOP button to begin the countdown. The display will show the remaining time.
- To pause the timer, press the START STOP button again. Press it once more to resume.
- To stop and reset the timer, press and hold the START STOP button for a few seconds until the display resets to "00:00".
- When the timer reaches zero, an alarm will sound. Press any button to silence it.

Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean the device, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
