Installation Guide
Important: Professional installation is highly recommended. Incorrect installation can damage the product or your device. This assembly includes the LCD screen, touch digitizer, bezel, and touch control board ONLY. It does not include extra LCD cables, back covers, hinges, or installation tools. Please retain your original parts.
Step 1: Preparation
Before beginning, ensure your laptop is powered off and disconnected from all power sources. It is advisable to disconnect the battery if possible. Prepare a clean, static-free workspace.

Step 2: Removing the Old Screen Assembly
Carefully detach the old screen assembly from your laptop. This typically involves gently prying open the bezel and disconnecting the display cables. Refer to the video below for a visual guide specific to the HP Pavilion x360 14-cd series.

Once the old screen is removed, you will need to disconnect the touch and display cables from the control board. Be extremely careful not to damage the connectors or cables.

Step 3: Connecting the New Screen
Connect the touch and display cables from your laptop to the corresponding connectors on the new LCDOLED screen assembly. Ensure the connections are secure and properly aligned. The image below shows the specific connectors for the touch functionality.

The new assembly includes a bezel. Ensure it aligns correctly with your laptop's frame.

Step 4: Final Assembly
Once all cables are securely connected and the screen is properly seated within the bezel, gently press the bezel back into place until it clicks. Reconnect the laptop battery (if disconnected) and power on the device to test the display and touch functionality.

Operating Instructions
After successful installation, your HP Pavilion x360 will recognize the new touch screen. No special drivers are typically required for basic touch functionality on Windows operating systems, as they are usually plug-and-play.
Touch Functionality:
- Basic Touch: Use your fingers to navigate, tap, swipe, and pinch-to-zoom as you would on any touch-enabled device.
- Stylus Support: This screen supports active stylus input. Ensure your stylus is compatible with HP Pavilion x360 models and is properly paired if required.
Display Settings:
- Resolution: The screen is designed for 1920x1080 resolution. If the display appears blurry or incorrect, check your operating system's display settings to ensure the correct resolution is selected.
