Setup
1. Charging the Device
Connect the ELEMNT BOLT to a power source using the provided USB-C charging cable. The device has a battery life of 15 hours.
The device can be charged mid-ride.
2. Mounting the ELEMNT BOLT
The ELEMNT BOLT comes with an Integrated Out-Front Mount and a Stem Mount. Choose the mount that best suits your bike setup.

3. Pairing Sensors

Operating Instructions
1. Display and Interface
The ELEMNT BOLT features a 2.2-inch, 64-color screen with an ambient light sensor for optimal visibility. Quicklook LEDs and customizable data pages allow for personalized setup.

2. Navigation Features
The device offers on-device turn-by-turn navigation for GPX, TCX files, and routes imported from platforms like Strava, Ride With GPS, and Komoot. Top LEDs and audible cues provide turn prompts.
Automatic route downloads and workout uploads are supported when synced with compatible accounts.
The "Take Me To" feature allows on-demand route generation by selecting a location on the map page or entering a destination via the ELEMNT Companion App.

3. Smart Notifications & Live Tracking
Receive on-screen pop-up alerts and LED indications for calls, texts, emails, and messages from various apps (WhatsApp, Signal, Line, Telegram, WeChat) on iOS and Android. This feature requires your smartphone to be with you and can be disabled with Do Not Disturb mode.

4. ANT+ Radar Integration
Pair your ANT+ Rearview radar to the ELEMNT BOLT to receive real-time proximity alerts for vehicles approaching from behind. Vehicles are represented on the computer's screen with LED indications.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Wipe the device with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the screen or casing.
2. Water Resistance
The ELEMNT BOLT has an International Protection Rating of IPX7, meaning it is waterproof up to 5 ft. This protects against splashes, rain, and accidental submersion.
3. Battery Care
To prolong battery life, avoid extreme temperatures and store the device with a partial charge if not used for extended periods.
Troubleshooting
1. Device Not Turning On
Ensure the device is fully charged. Connect it to the USB-C cable and a power source for at least 30 minutes.
Press and hold the power button for 5-10 seconds.
2. Sensor Pairing Issues
Check that sensors are active and within range of the ELEMNT BOLT.
Ensure no other devices are actively connected to the sensors.
Restart both the ELEMNT BOLT and the sensors.
3. Navigation Errors
Verify that the route file is correctly loaded and synced from the ELEMNT Companion App.
Ensure the device has a clear view of the sky for optimal GPS signal.
4. Display Not Responding
Perform a soft reset by holding down all physical buttons simultaneously for 10-15 seconds until the device restarts.
