Setup
1. Unpacking and Components
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure you have the following parts:
- Pitcher reservoir
- Filter funnel
- Lid with flip-top opening
- Removable handle
- AQUAPHOR B15 filter cartridge
2. Initial Cleaning
Wash the pitcher reservoir, filter funnel, lid, and handle with mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly. The pitcher components (excluding the lid) are dishwasher safe.
3. Filter Preparation
Before first use, immerse the AQUAPHOR B15 filter cartridge in water for 10 minutes. This primes the filter and removes any air bubbles.
4. Assembly
- Attach the removable handle to the pitcher reservoir by aligning the grooves and sliding it into place until it clicks securely.
- Insert the filter funnel into the pitcher reservoir.
- Carefully insert the prepared B15 filter cartridge into the opening of the filter funnel. Press down gently to ensure a snug fit.
- Place the lid onto the pitcher, ensuring it is properly seated.

Operation
1. Filling the Pitcher
Open the flip-top lid. Pour tap water into the filter funnel. The water will slowly pass through the filter cartridge into the main reservoir. Do not overfill the funnel; allow water to filter completely before adding more.
2. Initial Filtration
For the first full pitcher of filtered water, it is recommended to discard it. This helps to rinse any loose carbon particles from the new filter and ensures optimal taste for subsequent filtrations.
3. Dispensing Filtered Water
Once the water has fully filtered into the main reservoir, you can pour it from the pitcher. Ensure the lid is securely in place to prevent unfiltered water from mixing with filtered water.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Pitcher
Regularly clean all parts of the pitcher. The pitcher reservoir, filter funnel, and handle are dishwasher safe. The lid should be hand-washed with mild detergent and warm water to protect its components.
2. Filter Replacement
The AQUAPHOR B15 filter cartridge has a capacity of up to 45 gallons (approximately 2 months of use). For optimal performance and water quality, replace the filter cartridge every 2 months or after filtering 45 gallons, whichever comes first. The date mentioned on the filter is the manufacturing date, not the expiry date. The filter has a shelf life of 5 years under packaging.

Troubleshooting
- Slow Filtration: If water filters slowly, ensure the filter cartridge is properly seated and not clogged. Re-immerse the filter in water for 10 minutes to re-prime it. If the issue persists, the filter may need replacement.
- Unfiltered Water Leaking: Ensure the lid is securely attached and the filter funnel is correctly positioned. When pouring, wait for all water to pass through the filter before tilting the pitcher.
- Water Taste/Odor: If filtered water still has an undesirable taste or odor, ensure the filter was properly primed and is not past its replacement period. Replace the filter if necessary.
- Lid Not Fitting Tightly: Check for any obstructions around the lid's edges or the pitcher's rim. Ensure the lid is aligned correctly and pressed down firmly. Over time, plastic components may adjust, potentially improving fit.
