2.1. Setting the Time

  1. Pull the crown (Stem) out to the second click position.
  2. Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands to the correct time.
  3. Push the crown back into the normal position to start the watch.

2.2. Setting the Date

  1. Pull the crown (Stem) out to the first click position.
  2. Turn the crown clockwise to set the date.

Important: Avoid changing the date setting when the watch's internal time is between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM, as this can damage the date mechanism.

2.3. Adjusting the Watch Band

The stainless steel band can be adjusted by removing or adding links. A tool for this purpose is typically included with the watch. If you are unsure about adjusting the band yourself, it is recommended to seek assistance from a professional jeweler to prevent damage to the watch or injury.

3. Operating the Chronograph

Your OLEVS Chronograph Watch features three sub-dials for measuring elapsed time: minutes, seconds, and 1/10th of a second. The pushers (A and B) on the side of the watch control these functions.

3.1. To Measure Elapsed Time:

  1. Press pusher A to start the stopwatch.
  2. Press pusher A again to stop the stopwatch.
  3. Press pusher B to reset the stopwatch to zero.

3.2. Luminous Features

The watch hands and hour markers are treated with a luminous material, allowing for readability in low-light conditions after exposure to light.

4. Maintenance

4.1. Water Resistance

This watch is water resistant to 30 meters (100 feet). This rating means it is suitable for daily use and can withstand splashes or brief immersion in water. It is not suitable for bathing, swimming, diving, or any water-related activities where it would be submerged for extended periods or subjected to high water pressure.

  • Avoid operating the crown or pushers when the watch is wet to prevent water intrusion.
  • If the watch comes into contact with saltwater, rinse it gently with fresh water and dry thoroughly.

4.2. General Care

  • Clean the watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and dirt.
  • Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or strong magnetic fields.
  • Store the watch in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • Replace the battery as needed by a qualified watch technician to maintain water resistance.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Watch not running: Check if the crown is pushed in completely. If the watch still does not run, the battery may need replacement.
  • Date not changing correctly: Ensure the date is not being set between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM. If the issue persists, consult a professional.
  • Chronograph not resetting: If the chronograph hands do not reset to zero, try pressing pusher B firmly. If the issue continues, professional service may be required.
  • Water inside the crystal: If you notice condensation or water droplets inside the watch crystal, immediately take it to a professional watch repair service. This indicates a breach in water resistance that needs urgent attention to prevent further damage to the movement.
  • Band adjustment tool broke: If the provided band adjustment tool breaks, it is recommended to take the watch to a jeweler for professional band sizing.
