2. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Ensure all packing materials, including any internal protective inserts, are removed.
  2. Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit. The compact dimensions are approximately 31.8D x 22.6W x 29.5H Centimetres.

3. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: After adding water and plugging in the unit, press the 'ON/OFF' button on the control panel to turn on the ice maker.
  2. Select Ice Size: Use the 'SELECT' button to choose between small (S) or large (L) bullet ice cubes. The selected size indicator light will illuminate.
  3. Ice Making Cycle: The ice maker will begin its first ice-making cycle. This typically takes 6-8 minutes.
  4. Ice Full Indicator: When the ice basket is full, the 'ICE FULL' indicator light will illuminate, and the machine will automatically stop making ice.
  5. Add Water Indicator: If the water reservoir is low, the 'ADD WATER' indicator light will illuminate. Add more water to continue ice production.
  6. Collecting Ice: Use the provided ice scoop to remove ice from the basket. If the ice is not removed, it will slowly melt back into the water reservoir and be reused for the next cycle.

4. Maintenance

  1. Self-Cleaning Function: To activate the self-cleaning cycle, press the 'Clean' button. The machine will run a 250-second cycle to clean the internal water tank.
  2. Draining Water: After cleaning or when storing the unit, drain any unused water using the drain plug located at the bottom of the ice maker.
  3. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  4. Interior Cleaning: For a more thorough cleaning, unplug the unit, remove the ice basket, and wipe down the interior with a mild detergent solution. Rinse thoroughly and dry before reassembling.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Ice Melts in Basket: The ice maker's storage basket is not a freezer. Ice will melt if left in the basket. Transfer ice to a freezer for long-term storage.
  • "ADD WATER" Light On, but Reservoir is Full: This may indicate a sensor issue. Ensure the water level is indeed below the sensor or try unplugging and replugging the unit to reset.
  • Unit is Noisy: Some operational noise from the fan and compressor is normal. Excessive or unusual noise may indicate a problem; contact customer service.
  • Water Leakage: Check the drain plug at the bottom to ensure it is securely closed. Inspect for any visible cracks or damage to the water reservoir.
  • Not Making Ice: Ensure the unit is plugged in, powered on, and the water reservoir is filled. Check that the ice-making mechanism is not obstructed.
