Setup Guide
1. Unpacking and Component Check
Before beginning installation, ensure all components are present:
- Display Console
- Outdoor Sensor Array (7-in-1)
- Power Adapter for Display Console
- User Manual
2. Outdoor Sensor Assembly and Battery Installation
The outdoor sensor unit is designed for easy assembly. It integrates a rain funnel, solar panel, transmission module, wind vane, and high-speed anemometer. The main power source for the sensor is a solar panel, supplemented by 3 AAA batteries (not included) for backup. Install the batteries into the designated compartment on the outdoor sensor unit.

3. Mounting the Outdoor Sensor
The outdoor sensor can be mounted in various locations to ensure accurate readings. Common installation methods include pole mounting or side mounting to a stable surface. Choose a location that is free from obstructions to wind, rain, and sunlight for optimal performance. The wireless sensors connect to the console up to 328 feet away, though practical range may be limited to 100 feet due to environmental interference.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and accuracy of your weather station:
- Battery Replacement: Replace the 3 AAA batteries in the outdoor sensor unit as needed to ensure continuous operation, especially during periods of low sunlight.
- Cleaning Sensors: Periodically inspect and clean the rain funnel, wind cups, and other sensor components to prevent debris buildup (e.g., leaves, spider webs) that could affect readings. Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.
- Solar Panel: Keep the solar panel on the outdoor unit clean and free of obstructions to ensure efficient charging.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Sainlogic WiFi Weather Station, consider the following:
- No Data on Display/App: Ensure the outdoor sensor has fresh batteries and is within range of the display console. Check WiFi connectivity for online data.
- Inaccurate Readings: Verify that the outdoor sensor is mounted in an unobstructed location. Clean all sensor components. Ensure the unit is level for accurate rain and wind measurements.
- Online Broadcasting Issues: Some online platforms, like Weather Underground, may require specific data points (e.g., pressure) to be actively broadcasting from your station to join community networks. If you experience issues, check your station's settings within the Sainlogic app or the online platform's interface.
