1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the ASHATA QQT103 AM/FM Portable Digital Tuning Radio. This compact and lightweight radio is designed for convenient listening on the go. Please read this manual carefully to understand the product's features and ensure proper operation.

2. Package Contents

Ensure all items are present in the package:

3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Radio

The radio features a built-in rechargeable battery. Before first use, fully charge the device.

  1. Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the radio's charging port.
  2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The battery indicator on the LCD screen will show charging status.
  4. Once fully charged, disconnect the charging cable.

Note: Charging time may vary. It is recommended to charge the radio for several hours for optimal battery performance.

3.2 Connecting Earphones (Antenna)

The earphones serve as the radio's antenna. They must be plugged in for proper reception.

  1. Insert the 3.5mm jack of the earphones firmly into the earphone port on the radio.
  2. Adjust the earphone cable for best reception.

Note: The radio does not have an internal speaker; earphones are required for audio output.

4. Operation

4.1 Power On/Off

  • To turn on: Press and hold the POWER button.
  • To turn off: Press and hold the POWER button again.

4.2 Volume Control

  • Press the VOLUME + button to increase the volume.
  • Press the VOLUME - button to decrease the volume.

4.3 Tuning and Band Selection

  • AM/FM Selection: Press the AM/FM SCAN button to switch between AM and FM bands. The selected band will be displayed on the LCD.
  • Manual Tuning: Use the TUNER ▲ (up) and TUNER ▼ (down) buttons to manually adjust the frequency.
  • Automatic Scan: Press and hold the AM/FM SCAN button to automatically scan for available stations and store them.

4.4 Memory Functions

  • Store Station: Tune to your desired station, then press the M+ button to store it. Use M- to navigate through stored stations.
  • Delete Stored Station: Press the MEMO DEL button to delete a currently selected stored station.

4.5 LCD Display

The LCD screen displays the current frequency, selected band (AM/FM), battery level, and other relevant information.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

Wipe the radio with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.

5.2 Battery Care

  • Avoid exposing the radio to extreme temperatures.
  • Do not leave the battery completely discharged for extended periods.
  • If the radio will not be used for a long time, charge it periodically to maintain battery health.
