  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Ensure all components listed in the "Included Components" section are present.
  2. Attach Handle: Insert the handle into the main vacuum body until it clicks securely into place.
  3. Connect Hose: Attach the flexible hose to the designated port on the vacuum. Ensure a tight connection to prevent suction loss.

Operating Instructions

This section details how to use your vacuum for optimal cleaning performance.

Simply tilt the handle to steer the vacuum head in the desired direction. The integrated LED lights will illuminate the cleaning path, helping to identify hidden dirt and debris.

Using Attachments for Above-Floor Cleaning

For cleaning upholstery, stairs, and hard-to-reach areas, detach the hose and use the specialized tools.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures your HART Pro Upright Vacuum continues to perform effectively.

Emptying the Dirt Cup

Empty the dirt cup regularly, especially when debris reaches the "Max Fill" line, to maintain optimal suction.

  1. Ensure the vacuum is unplugged.
  2. Press the dirt cup release button and lift the dirt cup away from the vacuum body.
  3. Hold the dirt cup over a trash receptacle and press the bottom release latch to empty contents.
  4. Close the bottom latch securely and reattach the dirt cup to the vacuum.

Filter Maintenance

The advanced filter media is designed to last longer, but regular cleaning is essential for trapping over 99.9% of dust and allergens.

  1. With the vacuum unplugged and dirt cup removed, locate the filter assembly.
  2. Remove the filter. Tap it gently over a trash can to dislodge dust and debris.
  3. If washable, rinse the filter under cool running water until the water runs clear. Allow it to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting. Do not use the vacuum with a wet filter.
  4. Replace the filter and reattach the dirt cup.
  5. Replace the filter every 3-6 months, or as needed, depending on usage.

Cleaning the Brush Roll

Periodically check the brush roll for tangled hair or debris that can reduce cleaning effectiveness.

  1. Ensure the vacuum is unplugged.
  2. Turn the vacuum head over to access the brush roll.
  3. Use scissors to carefully cut away any hair or string wrapped around the brush roll. Be careful not to damage the bristles.
  4. Remove any debris from the brush roll housing.
