2. Important Safety Information

• Neutral Wire Required: This smart switch requires a neutral wire for proper operation. Most homes built in the early 1980s or later typically have neutral wires. If you are unsure, consult a qualified electrician.
• 2.4GHz WiFi Only: The switch operates exclusively on a 2.4GHz WiFi network. It is not compatible with 5GHz WiFi networks. Ensure your router is configured to support 2.4GHz.
• Install Without Power: Always turn off power at the circuit breaker before beginning any installation or wiring work. Verify that power is off using a voltage tester.
• Professional Installation Recommended: If you are not comfortable with electrical wiring, it is highly recommended to have the switch installed by a licensed electrician.

5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Wiring Diagram

Before wiring, ensure the power is OFF at the circuit breaker. This switch requires a neutral wire. Connect the wires as shown in the diagram below. It is recommended to operate by a licensed electrician.

1. Download the 'Smart Life' or 'Tuya Smart' app from your mobile app store (available on iOS and Android).
2. Register or log in to your account.
3. Ensure the smart switch is powered on. The indicator light should be blinking rapidly. If not, press and hold the switch button for 5-10 seconds until it blinks rapidly to enter pairing mode.
4. In the app, tap the '+' icon in the top right corner to add a device.
5. The app should automatically discover the device using WiFi and Bluetooth for quick identification. If not, manually select 'Electrical' > 'Switch (Wi-Fi)'.
6. Confirm the indicator is blinking rapidly and follow the on-screen prompts to connect to your 2.4GHz WiFi network and complete the pairing process.

6. Operation

6.1 Manual Control

The MoesGo Smart Light Switch features a physical push button for direct control. Press the bottom part of the button to toggle the light's state (ON/OFF).

6.2 App Control

Once paired, you can control the switch remotely using the Smart Life/Tuya Smart app from anywhere with an internet connection.

• ON/OFF Control: Tap the switch icon in the app to turn the light on or off.
• Relay Status Setting: You can configure the switch's power-on state (ON, OFF, or Remember Last Status) via the app settings. This allows the light to return to a preferred state after a power outage.

4. Follow the in-app instructions to link the switches. For example, you might designate one switch as the primary and associate others with it.

7. Maintenance

• Physical button not responding as expected:

• Cannot use as a traditional 3-way switch or dimmer:
  • This switch is designed for single-pole use or multi-control association via the app, not traditional 3-way wiring.
  • This switch does not support dimming functionality.
