3. Setup Guide
3.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and the charging case. Place the earbuds into the charging case and connect the charging cable to the case and a USB power source. The indicator lights on the case will show charging status.
3.2 Pairing with Your Device
- Ensure the charging case is charged and the earbuds are inside.
- Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically power on and enter pairing mode.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "JVC HAA3TW" from the list of found devices to connect.
- Once connected, a confirmation sound will play, and the earbuds are ready for use.
The earbuds are designed for easy operation. Just take them out of the case to automatically power on and connect to the last paired device. Returning them to the case powers them off, ensuring efficient power saving.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Touch Controls
The JVC HAA3TW earbuds feature intuitive touch controls on each earbud. Specific functions include:
- Play/Pause: Single tap on either earbud.
- Next Track: Double tap on the right earbud.
- Previous Track: Double tap on the left earbud.
- Answer/End Call: Single tap on either earbud during an incoming call.
- Reject Call: Press and hold on either earbud during an incoming call.
- Activate Voice Assistant: Triple tap on either earbud.
- Volume Control: Adjust volume via your connected device.
4.2 Single-Ear Use
Either earbud can be used independently for calls or music playback. Simply remove one earbud from the case, and it will connect to your device. The other earbud can remain in the case or be used later.

5. Maintenance and Care
5.1 Cleaning
Regularly clean your earbuds and charging case to maintain optimal performance and hygiene. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. For the eartips, remove them from the earbuds and clean with a damp cloth, then dry thoroughly before reattaching.
5.2 Water Resistance (IPX4)
The earbuds are rated IPX4, meaning they are resistant to splashing water from any direction. This makes them suitable for workouts or light rain. However, they are not designed for submersion in water. Do not expose them to strong jets of water or wear them while swimming or showering.
