1. Introduction
Welcome to the world of electronic drumming with your new MUSTAR Electronic Drum Set. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your drum set to ensure a rich and responsive playing experience. 3. Setup and Assembly
The MUSTAR Electronic Drum Set is designed for straightforward assembly. All parts are labeled for easy identification.
- Unboxing: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all items listed in Section 2 are present.
- Frame Assembly: Assemble the main drum rack frame using the provided poles and connectors. Ensure all connections are tightened securely. The frame is adjustable for height and width.
- Pad and Cymbal Attachment: Attach the mesh drum pads (snare and tom pads) and cymbals (hi-hat, ride, crash) to the designated points on the frame. Adjust their positions and angles for comfortable playing.
- Pedal Placement: Place the kick drum pedal and hi-hat pedal on the floor in comfortable positions relative to the drum stool.
- Module Mounting: Mount the electronic drum module (control box) to the frame in an easily accessible location.
- Cabling: Connect each drum pad, cymbal, and pedal to the corresponding input on the electronic drum module using the provided cables. Ensure all cables are securely plugged in.
- Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the drum module and then to a power outlet.
- Drum Stool Assembly: Assemble the drum stool and adjust its height to your preference.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Operation
- Power On/Off: Press the Power button on the drum module to turn the unit on or off.
- Volume Control: Use the 'Volume' knob on the module to adjust the overall output volume.
- Headphone Output: For private practice, connect headphones to the headphone jack on the module. This mutes the main output.
- Amplifier/Speaker Output: Connect an external amplifier or speaker system to the 'Output' jack for amplified sound.

4.2 Drum Kit Selection
The drum module features 15 built-in drum kits, covering a wide range of musical styles.
- Press the 'KIT' button.
- Use the main rotary knob to scroll through the 15 available drum kits. Each kit offers unique sounds for different genres.
4.3 Playing Modes and Features
- Demo Songs: The module includes 30 built-in demo tracks. Press the 'SONG' button and use the rotary knob to select a song. Press 'Play' to start. You can toggle the drum track on/off to play along.
- Metronome: Improve your timing with the built-in metronome. Press the 'METRONOME' button to activate. Use the rotary knob to adjust the tempo (BPM).
- Coaching Functions: Utilize the 3 coaching functions to identify and improve problem areas in your playing. Press the 'COACH' button to access these modes.
- Performance Recorder: Record your drumming sessions using the 'REC' button. This allows you to review your performance and track progress.

4.4 Sensitivity Adjustment
Each drum pad and cymbal is vibration-based. You can adjust the sensitivity of individual pads/cymbals to match your playing style.
- Press the 'SELECT' button.
- Hit the specific pad or cymbal you wish to adjust. The display will show 'SXX' (Sensitivity Level).
- Use the rotary knob to increase or decrease the sensitivity level. Higher numbers mean less force is required to trigger the sound.

4.5 USB MIDI Connectivity
The drum module supports USB MIDI and MIDI In/Out connections, allowing you to connect to computers, tablets, or mobile phones for expanded functionality.
- Connect a USB cable from the module's USB port to your device.
- Use compatible music software or apps to record, compose, or learn with interactive lessons.

5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the drum pads, cymbals, and module. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: When not in use, store the drum set in a clean, dry environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The set can be folded for convenient storage.
- Cable Management: Keep cables organized and untangled to prevent damage and ensure longevity.

6. Troubleshooting
