3. Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for the efficient operation of your portable air conditioner. Ensure the unit is placed on a flat, stable surface and near a window for exhaust ventilation.

3.1 Window Kit Installation

The window kit is designed for various window types, including single/double-hung and sliding windows. The kit is adjustable from 26 to 50 inches.

  1. Insert the screws into the holes in the window plates.
  2. Install the washer and screw, but do not tighten fully yet.
  3. Place an additional inner plate into the outer plate and secure the screws.
  4. Adjust the length of the window plates to fit your window opening. Fix the plates and close the window to secure them.

3.2 Exhaust Hose Connection

  1. Connect the exhaust hose to the AC unit's adapter by twisting it clockwise until secure.
  2. Align the connector on the opposite end of the hose with the opening in the window bracket and push it in until it locks into place.
  3. Ensure the exhaust hose is not bent or kinked, as this can reduce efficiency.

3.3 Drain Pipe Connection (Dehumidifier Mode)

For continuous drainage during dehumidifier mode, connect the included drain pipe to the drainage port at the back of the unit. Ensure the pipe leads to a suitable container or floor drain, positioned lower than the unit's drain port for gravity flow.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Panel and Remote Control

The unit can be operated using the touch control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control.

4.2 Operating Modes

Press the 'Mode' button to cycle through the available operating modes:

  • Cooling Mode: Provides powerful cooling. Adjust temperature using 'Up' and 'Down' buttons.
  • Dehumidifier Mode: Removes excess moisture from the air.
  • Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling. Select fan speed (Low/High).
  • Sleep Mode: Operates quietly with reduced fan speed and gradually increases temperature for comfortable sleep.

4.3 Fan Speed Adjustment

In Cooling or Fan mode, press the 'Speed' button to select between Low and High fan speeds.

4.4 Timer Function

The 24-hour timer allows you to set the unit to turn on or off automatically after a specified period. Press the 'Timer' button and use 'Up'/'Down' to set the desired hours.

4.5 Power On/Off

Press the 'Power' button to turn the unit on or off.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Air Filter Cleaning
