The DT Systems D.O.G. Director 700 is a remote dog training e-collar system designed for effective and humane training. Setup and Initial Use
Before using your DD700 system, ensure all components are properly prepared and charged.

Charging the Collar Receiver:
- Connect the battery charger to the collar receiver's charging port.
- Plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet.
- Allow 2-3 hours for a full charge. The SmartLED Battery Charge Status indicator will provide charging status.

Transmitter Battery Installation:
The transmitter uses an easily replaceable 9V battery (not included). Refer to the transmitter's battery compartment for installation instructions.

Turning On/Off the System:
Both the transmitter and the collar receiver feature a waterproof magnetic On/Off switch. To activate, align the magnetic points as indicated in the manual or on the device. Repeat to turn off.
Fitting the Collar:
The collar is adjustable to fit neck sizes from 7 to 22 inches. Ensure the contact points on the receiver make proper contact with your dog's skin. The collar should be snug enough not to move around, but loose enough to allow two fingers to fit comfortably under the strap.
Operating the DD700 System
The DD700 system offers various training modes and adjustable settings for effective dog training.
Transmitter Controls:

- RapiDial Posi-Lock Selector Knob: This knob allows you to select one of 10 stimulation levels. Rotate the knob to increase or decrease the intensity.
- "N" Button (Nick Stimulation): Delivers a quick, split-second stimulation.
- "C" Button (Continuous Stimulation): Delivers continuous stimulation for up to 8 seconds, or until the button is released.
- "J" Button (Jump Feature): A user-programmable one-touch option to instantly switch to a pre-set higher or lower stimulation level (from 1-10).
- "V/T" Button (Vibration Assist / Beeping Tone): Activates either a gentle vibration or an audible beep, depending on the selected mode. This serves as a no-stimulation alternative.
Training Modes:
- Stimulation: Use Nick or Continuous stimulation at appropriate levels for correction. Start with the lowest effective level.
- Vibration Assist: Provides a tactile cue without electrical stimulation, ideal for sensitive dogs or as an initial warning.
- Beeping Tone: Emits an audible sound, useful for recall or as a warning signal.

Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your DD700 system.
Cleaning:
Both the transmitter and collar receiver are 100% waterproof. After use, especially in wet or muddy conditions, wipe down the units with a damp cloth. Ensure contact points on the collar are clean and free of debris.
Battery Care:
- Regularly charge the collar receiver's Li-Poly battery. Avoid completely draining the battery before recharging.
- Replace the 9V battery in the transmitter as needed.
- Store the units in a cool, dry place when not in use.
