- Slide the battery into the slot until it clicks securely into place. Ensure it is firmly seated to prevent accidental dislodgement during operation.
3.3 Removing the Blade Protection Cover
Carefully slide the blade protection cover off the blade before starting the trimmer. Store the cover in a safe place for later use.

4.1 Starting the Hedge Trimmer
The DEWINNER hedge trimmer features a double safety switch design and a two-step start trigger system for increased security. Both switches must be engaged simultaneously to start the tool.
- Hold the hedge trimmer firmly with both hands using the ergonomic D-shaped front handle and the rear handle.
- Engage the ON/OFF switch (usually located on the rear handle).
- Press the trigger switch (located on the front handle) to start the blades. The blades will begin to move.
- Release the trigger switch to stop the blades. The tool will stop immediately if the trigger is released.
4.2 Trimming Technique

- Maintain a firm, balanced grip with both hands. The rubber-coated handles provide enhanced comfort and control.
- Move the trimmer smoothly and steadily along the hedge. The 51cm double-action blades operate at 1200 strokes per minute for quick and clean cuts.
- For optimal results, trim the sides of the hedge first, working from the bottom upwards. Then, trim the top of the hedge.
- Avoid cutting branches thicker than the maximum cutting capacity of 16mm.
